Yay! I have a ship! Norwegian Cruise Line's parent company, Star Cruises, is sending the SuperStar Leo to replace the Norwegian Sky. I just found out today! I'm so excited!!!!
And soooo relieved. I was worried they'd send us some crap flotation device and paddles!

Thanks to those who had their fingers crossed that my cruise ship dilemma would work out. We'll find out tomorrow what our cabins will be. [color=339900]ibouncetoo[/color], that must have been the Pride of America's accident you heard about. There was a storm last week in Bremerhaven, Germany where she's being constructed; somehow she took on water up to 3 decks and because of the damage her maiden voyage will be delayed. The Sky is going to sail her itinerary, so that left us without a ship! But we have a new one now. As long as they still have the midnight chocoholic buffet, I'll be perfectly satisfied!

I am an OR nurse and I was scrubbed in a back fusion surgery while lifing some heavy instrument trays to a four foot high surface, I bulged L4-5 disk and herniated L5-S1 disk. I have been off work for two months now and doing traction, physical therapy, and one epidural steroid injection. Somewhat better but still get numb sitting, standing, etc. I also have some degenerative problems in my back, also which bums me out so much.

I see a neurosurgeon next week; we'll see what happens.

That is also why I cannot go up to Phoenix; I can't sit for that time period driving up and back to Tucson!

You know what makes me really sad? I don't think I will be able to do all the great rollercoasters anymore when in Orlando! That REALLY REALLY bums me out!

I maybe going on the wrong cruise...I am addicted to chocolate.. oh please let us know how the chocolate buffet is??? When I lived in KS, I went to an all you can eat Chocolate Brunch.. that was magnificent!!!

I dunno. One of the docs I work with says that conservative therapy should work for now. I have other problems that may have to be addressed in the future if I can get this disk settled down. The anesthesiologist that did my injection wants to go ahead and laser it; I am going to the neurosurgeon for a second opinion. We'll see next week.

In the mean time........here I sit and gab with the wonderful people here on this thread! You all have been really nice to spend some cyber-time with!!!!!
