Three quick questions.

1. Can you use Disney Visa rewards points for payment either for the room fees or at the restaurants?
2. Is there a charge for the town cars, or do you just tip the driver?
3. At the Dolphin, is there a fee for the 5th person, or only for the rollaway bed?

1. No - the Swan/Dolphin are not Disney-owned hotels.
2. Yes, there is a charge for the towncars, and you should also tip them.
3. There is an extra person charge for more than 2 adults in the room. Rollaways are $25/night.

Thank you everyone for the help! We will just take the boat since we have two little ones and no car seats for a taxi. My plan right now is to hit Soarin first and then go over to Test Track. We'll see how it works :) But from everything I have read and researched, Soarin becomes a lot crazier a lot sooner than TT.

Yes - Soarin' is much crazier sooner. lol Even if you go there first a grab a fast pass. We almost missed riding it this year because of bad timing.

So would there be a charge for 2 adults and 3 small children, not getting the rollaway?

There shouldn't be an additional charge, unless the hotel requires you to get a rollaway for the 5th person in the room.

Even kids who are under the age of 3?

Anyone who would have a Key to the World card at a WDW-owned resort would need a room key from the Swan/Dolphin for EMH. I don't know what the WDW resorts require for kids under 3.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but my husband is attending a medical conference at the Swan.We will be staying at the Wilderness lodge and i am looking to find the best way to get to the conference. We do not have a car there so any helpful advice would be very appreciated. :)

Other than hiring a taxi - i would take the bus to DHS and take the boat to the Swan/Dolphin. S/D is the first stop from DHS but the third from EPCOT. The boat dock at DHS is much closer to the bus stop.

Hi all. Can someone advise if the renovations at the Dolphin are complete? Also can anyone recommend a great Alcove Room facing east on the 9th floor? Thanks!

Hey guys,

Are the beds at the Dolphin the Heavenly Beds too? Or are they only available at the Swan?

Hi Swan/ Dolphin experts! We've had a change of plans, and we'll now be staying at the Swan this Thanksgiving. I'm looking for some advice on Airport Transportation to replace Magical Express.

I'd like to not have to bring car seats... Is anyone familiar with "tour bus style" transportation options?

Thanks so much in advance!

Edited to say that I booked with Happy Limo, and requested a carseat.

Does anyone have the SPG amex? I see on the AmEx site that they offer 10,000 starwood points after your first charge, no fee for the first year. I'm thinking these points could be used for an upgrade? Anyone use this card?
Thanks-

We've had the Starwood AMEX for 10 years. I use the points more for airline miles than for hotels, but I recently booked a cash + points hotel reservation for next summer in Vancouver.

Thanks Nancy-do you earn points on all charges? Or just on travel-and does travel include gas?
Thanks again-

You earn 1 point per dollar charged, and double points for charges at Starwood hotels

I got one 3 years ago (a month before I checked in our first stay at the Swan), we were upgrade for a week stay. We are staying in December on points for 2 nights.
