Bucking bronco's. I get the feeling they're stallions who haven't been broken in (that means tamed, they're not used to being ridden if you get it). The back is where predators in the wild would attack so it is instinct to throw anything on it off (if they haven't been trained for riding).

It does seem mean, I am not a fan of rodeos in any way.
When you ride though for some reason it makes you realise just what is mean and what isn't when it comes to horses. Like whipping. A lot of people do not like to see a horse's backside being whipped. I have a rule, I give a nudge, if he does not obey sharp kick, then I use my whip. Tell me what is kinder, repeatedly kicking a horse or giving one sharp smack?
