Am I the only one that thought this was hokey and lacking the Disney magic?

No wonder the lines get long...all the talking at the beginning before you take your seat....some of that would be ok, but it's a little too long.

I find very little fault with most things Disney, but this one needs to go back to the drawing board IMHO.

I thought it was too cute!! Now, hokey, is Winnie the Pooh, all it is is some brightly colored cardboard cutouts, with a few bumps along the way, that is one that I skip everytime!! And what is up with Poohs Playful Spot :confused3 I think they could have definatley done something a little more exciting...maybe its because I dont have kids, but there is already a place for the little ones to run and blow off steam in Toontown.

Now while I haven't seen Poohs Playfull spot. I figured they put in a "playground" so that way demolition later would be easy. I figured that they where going to wait to put in another E-Ticket ride when a great design came in?

Im not fond with the whole cardboard cut-out rides...look at splashmountain, it has such good detail, very nice artwork and fuller scenery with the 3dimensional props along with nice animatronics, I wish they could have made pooh and snow white like that. I havent ridden stich yet but avoided it b/c of the long lines, and reviews everyone seemed to give. Maybe if I have time i'll check it out when we go back.

We each like some attractions, we each dislike some attractions...

I personally like it. Yes, it's hokey - but what isn't at WDW? In my experience, it's usually the shortest attraction line in Tomorrowland (except the TTA & sometimes Carousel of Progress). The pre-movie is cute, and the pre-show (the area with the robot warden) is fun - I really like the rules for recruits (in Alienese on one side wall, English on the other). The hokiest attraction (in my opinion) is Haunted Mansion, and I've embraced it (and go every time we're in the Magic Kingdom).

As far as "back to the drawing board", I din't think there's ever anything that I'm completely satisfied with (books, movies, music, whatever). Sure, there are ways to improve it (I personally would like more 'gross-out' stuff - Stitch is rude & crude).
