I mean sure he is like the dark mysterious prince we all dream of - - *Someone starts humming "Someday my Prince will come..." *
But Jacob is soft and cuddly and a bit more relateable. (Sp?)

Let's put it this way I have an easier time imagining Edward as the evil dude.

1- He left Bella.

2- He is way to over protective - like not letting her see Jacob.

Ok... maybe he's not that bad but what has Jacob done wrong - steal a kiss or two? I guess i just feel like everyone is like " Edward" and treating Jacob like Chopped liver. It makes me .

Well Edward did eventually say it was ok for her to see Jacob, and he saw it as a good thing from protecting her from a young werewolf who could hurt her if he looses control. Edward also left Bella because he thought it was best for her and the best thing to do, but it wasn't. He may be over protective but he does it because he loves her.

I think, yes, Edward may be over-protective, but that's just because he loves her and doesn't want to lose her. I think it may be over-bearing, but I also think it's sweet.
