I'm managing to like Jacob a bit more.
I'm almost a Switzerland.
Ugh.
The thing is, is that I find Jacob was around more for Bella?
I don't know. It's hard to compare. Edward saved Bella in bad situations.
Jacob saved her in many other ways...

I really wish I could love Jacob.
He's really a sweet guy, but I don't know where to draw the line about who's been there for her more.
And then it comes back to what Bella says in New Moon. Once you love someone, you can't think rationally about them. Edward, I've loved for a long time now, and I can't think that he won't end up with Bella. Even if I list out all the logical reasons, my mind always goes back to who he is.
