These nice young ladies were selling cookies from inside the giant gingerbread house in the lobby of the Grand Floridian, and since I loved their cute holiday aprons they were kind enough to let me take a picture.
Show me some more gingerbread - I can practically smell it now!
A few years ago, they had a gospel choir from NYC that performed in DHS (Sorry, I forget their name). I thought they were terrific, and sorry they didn't come back.
Show me someone wearing a "My first visit" button.
June 13, 2012, Disney's Animal Kingdom. According to MyFoxOrlando.com, the high temperature that day was 91°. Outside Rafiki's Planet Watch, we see this group of people, presumably from the Middle East. In the front were two men, dressed in t-shirts and shorts. Following them were four women, dressed in full-length coats, long pants, and scarves covering their heads and faces. If those ladies weren't WARM, then I don't know what WARM is!
From 2007, one of the very rare times I did rope drop at Epcot... we are all waiting just before the fountain, top of the hill behind the Big Ball, with half ready to race to TT and the other half ready to race to Soarin'.
First (and only) time to stay at AKL. This wonderful lady said "Welcome Home" and tears came to my eyes - she was so sweet and I was so very excited to get to stay there. (Thanks to my brother!)
