I love the shirts! I looked at the directions a while back, but they looked complicated. I did try a transfer shirt for my son last year and it didn't come out well.

I just leanred how to post photos, so I wanted to share. Here are the t-shirts I made.

Wow! Those are GREAT!! You did an awesome job! I wish I could do that. I am not a crafty person, so I am going to try to make the swirly mickey head with a bleach pen shirts. They look about the limit of what I can do. I haven't even told my DH yet, because he won't want matching shirts. I think I will make just a small Mickey head over where a pocket would be on a gray shirt for him. I bought the bleach pens today. I am nervous and might try it on an old shirt first. Has anyone made one of these?

Today is my 6 week mark

Though my first big "What if this happens back home while I'm in WDW..." happened today. Guess I need to start getting my ducks in a row at home to put my mind at ease

HeHe, no, not a Jill.

The shirts that I made were 2 years ago so maybe the iron ons will hold up better now, but I bought top of the line iron ons and still they fell apart.

I have not made the bleach pen Mickey shirt but have used the bleach pen to remove color for designs and it's very easy. I am still thinking about making bleach shirts, but we have 5 sets of matching shirts as of now and we will be buying a set when we get there so I think we have enough.

We match every day of every one of our trips. When I was a kid it was my dream to have a family and all wear the matching shirts, I loved seeing the families who did that. So even though my DD who will be 16 in a week hates it, she tolerates it cause DH reminds her it was my childhood dream.

Boy, I go away for a week to have carpal tunnel surgery (along with time to get comfortable with typing again) and you folks go and type up 20 something pages for me to read I cannot make any promises to get through all the pages but I hope everyone is doing well and that your pre-trip plans are going smoothly.

We only have 37 days to go til Disney and I cannot lie I am fretting a bit since I cannot do much prep with my right hand pretty much out of commission. I have asked hubby to start getting things together since we need to pack more then most, but he just doesn't understand why I feel we need to get started now! Oh well, I will do what I can and elbow him every now and again to do the things I can't

You are so right the time seems to be on fast forward these last couple of weeks, I am on day 39 now and I keep thinking I have to start going over my packing list. I have a couple of things I need to pick up this weekend then I can start being serious about packing

awesome tie dye shirts Im in the process of doing iron on t's..I ordered transfer from amymickey I heard she has the best...i havnt used them yet...washed the shirts last night and will start tonight. I'll let you guys know how they turn out.

Thanks! My hand and wrist still hurt quite a bit but I am looking forward to not wearing a wrist brace all the time anymore! Now if can just get through this recovery

You know back when you started this thread for us this trip seemed like it would take forever to get here, but I think having you all to chat with all this time has made a big difference in helping it not be so bad!!

Thanks! With so much going on with us I have little to no time to do as much as I would have liked, but somehow or another I always get it done, so I am not fretting yet. Now if we get to two weeks out and still don't have much done then I will get worried!

Who has their turkey Mickeys all ready? I printed out 6 (2 larger, 4 smaller) and have them laminated. At this point I am thinking we will put them in the lil card holders that on the lanyards, but we will see how it works out.

Hi!! My family and I had to cancel our trip that was originally scheduled for the first week of December, but circumstances be what they may - we were able to book for November 14th - 21st!!!! We're sooo excited as we just booked last night and were able to get the free dining!! Staying at POP - our first time there. Traveling is me (the mom), my DH, and my darling DD!! She will be 5 on Dec 12th, so this is technically a trip to celebrate her first time there and her 5th birthday!!!
Looking forward to seeing what all is going on in this link and how everyone is planning!!!
