Nintendo just announced the successor / replacement to it's popular DS hand held system - the new 3DS (the name might get changed later).
This is not just an updated DS, but rather a brand new system with new technology. So far the biggest selling point of this new system - it plays games in 3D without the need for 3D glasses!

This new system will be fully compatible with all DS and DSi games and DSi ware. They will be announcing much more info about this new system at this summers E3 conference. Apparently they plan to release this new system sometime this year or the beginning of next.
