I'm pretty sure the tanning tax is everywhere. Whatever you pay for tanning, just add 10% on top. I was suprised, it happened last year. I guess it is the governments way of punishing you for exposing yourself to skin cancer causing lights.

Ok yes I checked for just over a year there is a 10% tax on indoor tanning. I wonder if this is why people spray tan more now.

I guess next they will go to beaches and hand out tickets to sunbathers. Oh, and don't forget those construction workers, we all know they spend way to much time in the sun.

I imagine the spray tan thing may be because it is safer, and the cost is less.

I guess the way i rationalize it is because i live in a pretty mild climate. so i'm not overly exposed to the sun, even in the summer.

No I just don't frequent tanning beds so didn't really pat attention to that law.

Everyone is off doing nature walks..communing with the island spirits...some are sleeping in the hammocks on the beach too...really quiet lazy day on the island today.

OMG! I was just reminded by an Amazon Jungle documentary that I am watching, that I should weigh about the same as a full grown male chimpanzee! At least I am not as hairy. But I am still scary all the same. So horrifying matter of fact, that guys look the other way when they see me, and sometimes babies cry too. Or guys cry like babies. I am not sure which is worse. Then to top it off, I was informed the other day, by phone no less that I am not good enough to volunteer for a therapeutic riding program that is in Petaluma. And it is suppose to be a charity. Well not so much it is to poor people. They are a mean group of old women and a man that never met me, or so much as spoke to me. I need a full time job anyway, that pays money. So I cannot afford to spend too many hours working for free.
