So for a lot of things, you had to win by bidding $250, $500 or $1000 more than the second best bids.

So.... Albie is going to jail for murdering his lover. Albie did not kill his sister after all, thank god. She did witness her brother murdering him, though. Right in front of her matter of fact. Their adopted 15 year old daughter is having an affair with her teacher. But it looks like that is now over! Or is it? Margie is being grilled by the law over having become involved with Bill ( The senator) when she was only 16 y/o. She and her mother lied to him, about her age.
Carolan's teacher knows hold she is. He is probably just a perve or something. Even though they claim to love each other.
