Greetings,

I'm new here, just in time for planning my 2013 Disney trip. I've visited WDW six times (89, 92, 95, 00, 05, 08) as everything from a toddler to a young adult and look forward to my next trip, which I'll hopefully take in June once the school year is over. I teach first grade and yes, I'm a guy. (The few, the proud, the male first grade teachers).

I'm not sure what I want to do exactly or even where to stay on my next trip, so I'm hoping these boards can give me some ideas! I've been to several of the resorts before (in fact, my Boardwalk Mickey bellhop beanie sits proudly on my desk at home) but am open to almost anything.

I'm also a huge fan of older Disney stuff (20th century mostly, although I do like a few of the movies they've released since then, especially Pixar films). Growing up in a great era of animation (late 80s/early 90s) helped to get me hooked. It also helps that my grandparents are huge Disney fans, especially my grandmother (who still remembers seeing Snow White in the theater for the first time in 1937). I attribute my grandmother's first birthday gift for me--a Disney Sing Along Songs video and a Disney song tape that I used to have my mom play in our car--to my lifelong love of classic Disney.
