Robyn, thanks. If it weren't Christmas, I'd pick CR hands down for the view. But I just fell in love with the GF at Christmas. Maybe a good solution would be to book several meals at the GF so we get to spend some time there as well.

i was told xmas decortions go up 1st week of nov that is awesome
i cant wait to see the Gf all decked out

Just looked through some of my GF Christmas pics. Oh, it was so beautiful! This is not going to be an easy decision.

I've tried to call GF/IPO about 10 times during different times of the day and get the answering machine. I emailed 3 days ago and haven't heard a thing?!I'm trying to coordinate a surprise for my DD.Hopefully,I'll hear from them soon. Should I call the hotel and bypass the IPO number? Do you know if there's a specific person that I could ask for when I call? TIA

My last message was not too happy. However,IPO just called!!!!!! The surprise for my princess: is now set and I am over the moon happy!!!!!!Oh,DD's surprise is the 1 bedroom suite @ the Grand Florididan. She's always wanted to stay there but we never did. So I'm giving her a grand surprise!
The concierge will act like he/she is giving us a tour of the rooms. When we get to the suite, surprise we're staying here. There will be cookie bouquets and balloons for both my DD and her friend!!!!

Oh!!! I love it! :) Since you're in a suite, will they do your check in in that room??? Sometimes suite guests get big VIP treatment. :thumbsup2 Just curious.

You're very welcome. Hope it turns out to be fabulous! :wizard:

I am planning a split stay between Wl and GF for Dec. 2007 :cool1: :cool1: .

Can anyone answer a few things for me:

1)- When do AAA or AP rates come out for 2007

2) Will Pop Warner week make a huge difference in crowd levels or should I pick the second week of December

3) I wanted to sit in the main lobby and people watch but it is $160/night higher than Sugar Loaf so my question is is it a quick walk over to the main building and can you use both lounges if I wanted to freshen my drink.

4) I really liked the looks of Triplefigs room in Sl for a family of 5 but is there a better one. I don't care about views because most of what I am going for is inside.

We've actually done check in for RPC at the regular concierge desk, the lounge and once in our room. None of them were suites, so maybe it just depends on the CM.

If you look back a page or two on this thread, I believe they are already out.

No, they won't impact the crowd levels at all.

3) I wanted to sit in the main lobby and people watch but it is $160/night higher than Sugar Loaf so my question is is it a quick walk over to the main building and can you use both lounges if I wanted to freshen my drink.
Only suite guests have access to both lounges. Otherwise, you only have access to the lounge where your room is booked.

Triplefigs family was lucky enough to get one of three lodge tower rooms. These are only available by request through Sugar Loaf. The remaining rooms are standard sizes (unless you book a suite).

I have a suite booked for Thanksgiving week.Does that mean we have access to
the RPC too?!

We had a suite in Boca Chica two years ago and we had access to both lounges but we only used the RPC. It was fabulous!!!

I posted this in another forum, but I though some of you may know the answer...

Lives4, thanks for the response on my other thread there as well. Can you tell we leave in a few days :) :) :)

MY QUESTION:
We went to MGM last year and didn't realize that the attractions (mainly for little kids) were on a schedule. We missed everything!

This year I am trying to plan better - how can I find Voyage of the Little Mermaid show times, for example? I have found park times, but not attraction ones.

Please help this momma out
