I'm glad I live near Eurostar, Eurotunnel & the ports although I prefer to drive

We went by coach to DLP with the school back in 94 and it took ages to get there, never again.

Eurostar or Eurotunnel - there's not much to call between them for us.

Eurotunnel is cheaper, but then again Eurostar is so much nicer :goodvibes

Eurotunnel is usually cheaper for us too, even more so if my uncle can get us across for £1:thumbsup2

Eurostar is cheaper for me.....

I'm glad that i live near the Ashford terminal, but i could go from London if i had too.

I much prefer the london terminal - I prefer traveling to London by train than to Ashford by car.

Eurotunnel gets cheaper the more people you take over as you pay per car, rather than per person. It also requires you to be able to drive in the first place :rotfl:

I went on coach holidays when i was little and they was fun, but no way would i do one now I'm a parent. Plus i get bad travel sickness in coaches and cars these days.

Cool, my mums travel industry connections measn we get leisure select for £99 so I can never say no to that! :)

Plus I'm too scared to drive abroad!

I'll always go with Eurostar anyday even if meant i had to travel down the night before to use it lol.

Thats a good deal too. Its not scary driving abroad, I actually prefer it to driving over here sometimes:thumbsup2

We went snowboarding in Bulgaria in January and because of bad weather we had to fly to Thesaloniki in Greece and get a 6 hour coach transfer to the hotel, I felt really bad during the journey and threw up three times at the half way break and had to be dragged back on to the coach.

I'm terrible as a passenger even in cars as well now!

I dont do well as a car passenger. Seems to take waaaay longer than if I'm the one driving.

I much prefer the train, I wish I could travel everywhere by eurostar! It's my favourite method of transport! :goodvibes

used to love planes but I'm getting more nervous the older I get, already a but apprehensive about my one in the morning. But I'm really looking forward to my ferry crossing tomorrow. :)

righty I'm off now peeps to go get my medication for next week!

Speak 2 u all later xxx

I'm going now to do the ironing I have been putting off. Speak you all later:goodvibes
