How far is it from Vegas? Could you not go during the trip for a day or 2

The problem is that I don't drive and my grandparents aren't really interested in Disneyland California. As such, it's easier for me to tag it on at the end and keep the Vegas part as a family holiday.

LA to Vegas is a 5 hour drive through the Mojave desert and Death Valley, we did that drive last month!

I got my 1st one through a thread I posted on on the US community board, something about things you can do that are unusual (I can put my feet on my head!) The 2nd was technically my 3rd. The 2nd one I got said was actually quite offensive to me (said I was in love with a fellow disser!) but after about 2 hours it got changed to the one I have now. It turned out the disser it said I was in love with somehow on another thread requested a tag for me! The other disser is my friend though!
Does that make sense!
This was all about 4 years ago and no tags since.

Yeah, there was a phase of a few weeks when tags were appearling that dissers loved oneanother! Wierd. My bottom tag is in reference to a thread I post on and the fact that I like gardening and water features in my garden!

The top one isn't a tag, when i joined the Dis after so many posts you became a dis veteran, everyone got one of those.

Indeed you do. But... Normally though, they're black (like mine). When the tag fairy tags you, that one goes (like with Small World). You seem to have your 2 unique tags, plus DIS Veteran, which isn't the normal colour, so I assume you've been tagged with DIS Veteran as some cruel joke (tagged with what everybody gets anyway).

Anyhoo, back to Vegas, you are going to Vegas? I love Vegas!!

Indeed I am. It's one of my two trips in planning referenced in my sig. I don't have an accurate enough date to create a ticker for that yet.

Talking about Ticker's when I was looking at flights to Seattle, I discovered that unfortunately, my Ticker might be wrong - I might have to fly out a day early in order to get there at a sensible time. With that in mind, I suspect it's really 17 days, so this time next week I shall be preparing the hamsters again for my SDD (yes, I'm excited about a work trip - I know it's sad )

I don't think the tag fairy comes to the DLP board much, maybe that is why we don't have tags (or in my case tags that are less than 3 years old!)

Probably......... I think each board should have its own tag fairy for that reason..... Then it would be a bit more fair........ I mean, I never have need to post on the WDW boards, etc so I'm not really gonna get noticed by the tag fairy.......
