You'd get to stay cheap at DLRP - when we drive round to park in Winnie the Pooh car park, we always pass them parked in the car park. They appear to stay there over night, as the same vans are always in the same spaces every morning.

Yes I know we've looked into that as well.

When we went to Mont St Michel it was like camper van city - hundreds of them all camping in the car park

yep - your German seems better than mine - not that much of a contest.

Hows your Polish? ;)

A level German coming back to me - Its very very rusty though and didnt know I still knew the word for airport til 2 minutes ago.

Polish - um non existant

French -OK
German - could survive
Italian - could possibly survive
Spanish - could take a few guesses
Russian - 2 words

English - questionable at times

Woohoo, a language I "speak" better than you ;)
Which russian words do you know?

Told you before I think we could be twins :rotfl:

:goodvibes

We always talk about it on the way back from Wales as its when we're just driving along we find the most stunning places..... so if we had a camper we could just go off for a week or so drive along and find a nice little camp site for the night.....

Hello and Goodbye - I had the option of taking O level Russian (O levels are those things which you did before GCSEs were invented :rotfl: ) and always regret not doing it

My Mam and Dad always wanted a Camper Van to go round the world when they retired..... My Dad wanted to make his own (Luckily he was good at building things!).... He also wanted to build a house....... :goodvibes

I know how to say: "Hello Female Friend".... I learned it in Brownies (I have my Russian Badge!:thumbsup2 ).... Can't spell it though, hence not writing it on this thread!

No I cant spell the 2 words I know either

North Wales... Mr Tiggs family live there near bangor.... they have a stunning place...:goodvibes

We know North Wales quite well - we've had some great holidays on the Lleyn Peninsula. Great beaches for paddling in wellies in winter. We've also stayed at Llangollen a few times

I know about O levels - I learnt about them when I did my history GCSE ;)

I'd be tempted to do a Polish GCSE - I had an argument with somebody about whether an English person could pass GCSE Polish and I want to prove them wrong (even though I don't see them any more - I'm stubborn like that :rotfl: )

My languages aren't so good, though I've only gone as far as GCSE French. I have quite a bizarre mix of languages though :rotfl:

French : I can get by, but struggle in places
Polish : very basic, but I can put a few phrases together if needed
Slovenian : a few basic words (hello, please, thank you etc)
Cornish : 2 words
German : a couple of basic words

I went to Uni at Aberystwyth...3 years and I still don't know much Welsh.

Just random stuff like no parking, fire exit, and hospitaly services...lol.

Dont see why an English person couldnt pass a Polish GCSE. Im stubborn over things like that as well - would do it just to prove someone wrong.

I'll ignore the comment about the history GCSE this time but if it happens again I cant promise to be as nice :rotfl:

I cant believe how dark it is out...
Winter's a comin!

Becasue I'm going pretty far south for my holiday, next week is gonna be 8am sunrise and 7pm sunset for me....really odd to wake up in the dark but hot!
