Do you think faxing is best to get what you want, or the request when checking in online is just fine? Is there a fax template to use, or just submit request? I just don't want to send and request too much.

There's a thread on the Resorts board run by Venomhatch that details faxing in a request. He provides a template you can use as well. The rumor is only POR and POFQ accept faxes nowadays but not sure how true it is. Last November, I faxed a request over to CSR (in addition to having it noted by calling in advane), and when I got there, the CM had read my request verbatim as I had faxed it in. So I knew they got it and noted it. I can't imagine sending in a fax would hurt!

Officially POR and POFQ are the only resorts still accepting faxes for requests. Most other resorts are still reading them, but technically don't have to so if they were very busy they may not. It certainly doesn't hurt to fax them over, though I'd call too to make sure they are noted that way as well.

I know!!! My luggage leaves before I do so I have few days less to pack it. I keep checking things off my mental checklist but it still seems like there is soooooo much to do. Where did the time go. I still have to finish my kid's treat bags for the plane and our itinerary books for everyone, before Monday. It always seems to get done I just don't know how this year my almost 2 year old (boy) is not as cooperative as my first 2 (girls now 9 and 8) were. Oh well we will keep plugging along who needs sleep.

Call me blonde...just went back and looked at Pg 1 again and saw all the Picts of fruit and other breakfast stuff!! That's why I Love this thread....full of Wonderful info to plan my first family trip. Now, if only the next 43 days would fly

Supposed to check in in 16 days - but DD8 has injured her knee (she's a gymnast) at this point her knee is immobilized, we follow up 3 days before check in, we need some pixie dust to get the all clear or we will be rescheduling :-(

If you've got some extra good vibes please send them our way for my poor little princess... Trip reschedule or not she's not a happy camper when she can't run and flip and jump!
