In all of our stays at the CBR, we have never had what we would consider a bad meal. Everything has been fresh and tasty. In my opinion, there's no need to go elsewhere if you are looking for a quick meal.

**Edited to add: I have a few pictures of some of the food items we ordered in my trip report and I believe I also posted some on the CBR picture thread.

I have to agree. We loved the food there. IMHO it is one of the better food courts at the mods.

Unless it's changed during the refurb, there is a retractable line just over the tub. I used it many times to dry out swim suits.

Yes all of the rooms have it, even the refurbished ones.

Hi everyone just checked in at Caribbean Beach, and can hear illuminations from the room! We're in Jamaica 43, in a refurbed room which is exactly like the pictures posted earlier in the thread (I'm a long time lurker!).

We will be there 9/26 - 10/3. This will be our 2nd time here at the Caribbean. Trying to decide if we want to request a refurbished room. Is there 1 location that is best for toddlers?

I'm still trying to figure out if I should request anything other than just the connecting rooms - would love refurbed rooms, and would love to be near laundry!!

HI, just booked my first stay at CBR today! We were staying at the Swan but with the new discounts released I just couldn't pass them up!

I'm excited to check it out, it's the only mod that I haven't stayed at.

Does anyone know what types of breakfast items in the food court count as snacks? My DD's are not big breakfast eaters so wanting to just get fruit, muffins or pastries, donuts or something similar for them.

Loooong time lurker here. Finally taking the plunge to be added to the roll call ( AND debuting my first post!). It's high time.

DH, DD 4, and DD 1 are booked for CBR from 11/13-11/23. DH and I are WDW vets, but this is our first visit with kids (beyond excited)! Ooh...and first time at CBR. This thread has absolutely sold me on the resort. Love it!!

Jamaica 45 is right next to the bridge to the island, where they have a nice play area for kids.

There are 6 buildings in Jamaica, 41-46, so make sure your request the one you want!

If the preferred rooms are not completed by my arrival date (Nov. 1st). Do you think I could request for a refurb room on check in? and if so would they credit my account for the difference? ( I booked with free dining). Thanks Guys!

Awesome, we requested Jamaica 45 or Aruba 51- does anyone know about how long the walk is over the bridge to center? We asked for a preferred room but none were available so really hoping I can get this close- I have bad hips and have trouble walking long distances and I did ask the cast member to put that on my reservation so when we go to check in hopefully they will see that. Thanks.
