Thanks so much for creating the New CBR Thread. I'm really enjoy reading about CBR, it will be our first time staying there Sept. 16th--Sept. 24. I'm really getting excited about the resort. We have stayed all of the other MOD resorts and CBR looks Beautiful!!

Rumors have it that people can check into building 41 in the Jamaica section today Waiting on actual reports!!

We were are the CBR May 24th to June 7th and work was being done on the entire Jamaica 41 building. They were still working on it when we left the morning of June 7th. Permits were on each of the room windows and work was ongoing so I am pretty sure that the rumor is, unfortunately, just a rumor.

sept 19- 27.. we were orginally going for 7 nights.. I added a night at the begining to go see Jo Dee messina. (the sat and sun nights are booked with meals)

we were AT disney when I kept calling about the visa free dining.. I was actually AT the Boardwalk bus stop, on hold, when I finally got through and the CM told me.. no no visa free dining.. sigh

so we booked a bounce back at POR, garden view (all that was available.)

came home and found the there WAS free dining for disney visa arrgh!!!y that time we couldn't get a value, no POR . but we got lucky.. since it's just the 2 of us, we got a king room..


then last week, I actuall was able to add that night.
CBR was our first ever resort, back in 1992. it was a "value" resort then.. the boys were 10 and 13.. sigh.. now they are 31 and 34 wow

We just checked in to CBR this afternoon and we are in building 41 in Jamaica. We are in a refurbished room and are quite pleased. However, our room does not have a Murphy bed (which is fine with us as we don't need it). I spoke to a CM outside of our building and she indicated that not all rooms had Murphy beds. Building 41 is complete and they are working on building 42. I read in a forum on another site that someone thought that preferred rooms got Murphy beds. We are a standard room, so this may explain the lack of a Murphy bed. I love the new doors that separate the sink area from the sleeping area. If you've seen the leaked photos online, the decor is very similar.

Exciting news for CBR .........I hope they will be able to sleep 5 very shortly !!!

We check in Friday and have requested Jamaica.... crossed fingers that we can get refurb room !! Wish us luck and I Definitely will post pics ��

Booked for September 14-20th 2014, preferred room. I hope we get a building with the Queen beds, would make for a much more comfortable stay! So glad to hear such positive reviews about the resort, first stay for the family at a moderate.

Always a good feeling going to Disney. I use to live near the Buffalo airport. I'm now 25-30 min. away from there. We will be in Disney Sept.13-21. Would have been cool if we where going the same time. We are also leaving from Buffalo. Hope you have a great trip!

They must have just opened them up because they were still working on them on Saturday. We were in Jamaica 43 and didn't see any work going on in 42 either. They must have gotten a move-on if they opened 41 up that quickly. Are all rooms complete in 41? Like others have posted, please post pictures!

My family and friends are going to be there on July 16th, please let all of us know how the new rooms are!! If there are now queen beds, I will be pysched!! If you can post pictures, that would be totally appreciated! My family and friends all love the CBR, and we don't mind how spread out it is.
