My mother can't hear on one side...and my sister (24) is the same. Except my mother's hearing got worse with age and my sister just had some weird virus or something a few months ago that killed her hearing.

The heater is really loud. And the computer's fan is like really loud...The TV in the living room is usually on if someone is awake. The two year old doesn't shut up. My other sister (19) usually keeps the radio or TV in her room on really loud...even if she's not in there. Her room is across from mine and she likes drumming when I'm asleep. The power went out once right when I was about to go to bed...it was amazing how quiet it was. My sister (19) and I were the only ones home since it was a week day and after 10AM...my aunt's house is usually really quiet...except the walls are like paper and you can hear everything if there's something...and my aunt got new windows a while ago so you can't really hear the outside noise. Some of the dudes that did the windows were really cute...
