Well, since we are telling "gas" stories, Josh (my 4 year old DS) walked over to Lainie (just turned 1) this morning & let one go right "on her". I was in shock & he just started laughing. I told DH about it, & he swears he has no idea how Josh knows "pops" are funny. Yeah, right. I might start at new debate about this. Nature vs. Nurture!

RickinNYC, I sent you a PM regarding the soap actor thing.

I just talked to [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color]'s DD-6. They are getting ready to head to the airport. They are flying out of Louisville which is about an hour away from here. I'll let everyone know when they land in Orlando.

Hi all, I convinced RRBB that we needed to go out for Dinner, so we went to a little italian place we like, I still have half a pepperoni pizza left if the TAG FAIRY wants any...

I think Nieceosaurus is a little jealous of her brother (I think she is a little sweet on [color=000666]Bill[/color]. She has been upset all day long; they put this huge hose right in front of where she likes to sit and watch Cinderella from. Oh well, she is watching Princess Diaries on a laptop.

I had an interesting evening with my oldest friend. I've known her since 7th grade, and she got married almost 2 years ago. She's now pregnant with her first child. That's the good news. The bad news is that they are POOR because she doesn't work (dunno why, not sure I wanted to ask her) and he quit his job because he doesn't like working for the man. (Who does?) They've had to sell a car, they're on Medicare because he works at a crappy coffee shop and isn't a manager--yet (what's this about working for the man?)--and they're going to have a baby. This fella she married is 36, mind you. I think it's time for him to grow up and take on SOME responsibility. I hope it all works out well for my friend, but she isn't painting a rosy picture.

Laura sorry to here about your friend. That is really sad! Hopefully they will turn things around. New babies are rough enough but when added to financial stress and strain , that is tough place to be in..Hopefully the parents, friends, religious community can help. There are organizations that can help her with baby things when the time comes but it is rough...sending lots of PD for her

Thanks chocolatey geffric. I hope the PD works. Fortunately her parents are fairly well-off so if she has to she can go to them. I just wish she'd picked a different DH. Oh well, too late now. He really is a nice guy, just not very responsible. In July I e-mailed her about my then-new cat and she wrote back saying that she'd like to have a cat but couldn't afford the expense right then.

geffric, Thank you for the offer, but we have to watch the workers...although, can we breath fire at your place? It will be quite warm on cold Winter's nights...

You wanted to know the construction story? well, ever since we got back from our last trip to WDW ohanafamily has had problems breathing and sleeping. Finally someone suggested we might have mold...we had the house tested and there is a penicillin farm growing behing the master bathroom. They have about a month before the bathroom is back to normal.

Laura, people manage when they have to. I am sure your friends DH will mature quite quickly after they have the baby. Pixie Dust from our whole family.

What was that country song... "It's 2 O'Clock in the morning and it looks like it's going to be another sleepless night."

I keep having these feelings that I can't breath. It isn't just while I sleep, it is while I am awake. I think the Asthma Inhaler worked a little, but I am still short of breath. I wonder if it is stress related?

Oh well, Someone suggested I take a hot shower..maybe I'll try that?

If All Else Fails, I can turn one of the Heppa Filters down and try to watch a movie downstairs...

Sorry for the rant, I just needed too talk to someone who isn't trying to sleep... when you are feeling claustrophobic, closing the door to the very small guest bathroom makes it worse...

I guess I will try to find another towel now...

Just making Chocolate oatmeal and whipped hot chocolate for DS this am before he freezes on his way to school. Really, if you haven't tried it is is almost like chocolate pudding. DS #1 is allergic to milk so i use Chocolate Soy Dream.. Quite Yummy..


But for those of you who prefer a more traditional breakfast, grab a Krispy Kreme and some Hot Chocolate.

OhanaFamily we ripped a bathroom apart last year, it is quite the mess.. good luck with the breathing while the dust from the construction is in the air. We found that even if we had plastic to block off the room that the fine dust particles made it into the HVAC system. Making things quite unpleasant. We all lived in the basement during the construction. My sister uses a breathing mask/filter, if you are interested I can ask her about it.

Just finished my walk, I feel much better after the shower last night.

Thanks for the info geffric, I may take you up on the mask questions... Actually, they created an airlock with negative pressure to keep the contaminants from getting into the HVAC. I think a front just came through and I am quite sensitive to air pressure changes. I am a little scared that it took several extra minutes for my inhaler to work, I hope I am not getting an immunity.

Next month I will resume the talks with the Drs., it is funny though, the meds the lung doctor gave me seem to be giving me a lot of the side effects of the sleep apnea...hmmm it just kind of makes you think...

Meanwhile, I took Nephosaurus's laptop upstairs and think that I may need to replace the battery soon. The problem is that the batteries are almost $200.00, and I can get a new laptop for not that much more (OK, it isn't a Sony, and is on sale for $700 and Office Depot, and it has a smaller screen...so if I call gateway...no, no...just remember to keep it plugged in!)

At any rate, Nieceosaurus was watching Princess Diaries on it last night before we went to bed. I think she wants to be a princess when she grows up; I hate to say that genetics would indicate she would be the one guarding the princess...but she will always be a princess to us...

I guess I had better go upstairs and get dressed for work...

Seriously - it is to bad she got herself in that situation, that is incredible that they can't afford a CAT but they can afford a kid! ROFLMAO
That is like our friend who INSISTS that her dog is more work than our kids! She thinks it isn't fair that you can bring kids into the stores, but you have to leave a dog in the car (do you knaw how many times I have thought - ohhh I wish I could leave my kids in the car!) I am petrified that this person will have children- it will be very scary!

Good Morning everyone!!!

I talked to [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] last night around 10pm & they were in their room getting everything unpacked. Flight was fine, Ella made it about 3/4 of the was through with no problems at all. She just got a little fussy when she had to be put in her car seat during landing. The flight was no where close to full, so [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] was able to use Ella's car seat in one of the empty seats. They are probably on the monorail right now as they have a PS at CP at 9:45am for Ella's birthday breakfast.

Laura, PD to your friend, maybe when they start looking at the prices involved with new babies, they'll get motivated....it definitely ain't cheap!

I'll tell her, but don't worry, [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] has trained her kids well. They are BIG on hand sanitizing. She was the first person I know who used that stuff when it first came out.
