I tried it today
Scariest thing I ever did in the history of my life. I didn't have the actual neti pot so I used a tea kettle, ahah. Basically what it does is clears out your sinuses. It's like a small pot that you put the spout in your nostril and pour it. then it magically comes out of the other nostril.
I felt like I snorted water (which what it pretty much does). Some of it probably hit my brain haha.
i'll probably post the video of me using it tomorrow.

Has anyone used it before?

haha my mom tried that! She tried it and thought it worked but I was terrified and wouldn't let her near me with that thing. It looks disgusting but at least it made me laugh. Oprah, why must you show us these crazy inventions? She knows we'll do almost anything she says. At least I would. But the nose pot I'm steering clear of. Did it help any or did it just feel really weird?

Those things scare me....
I've seen people do it before, and my boyfriend's mom does it... I just don't think I'll ever do it. I just don't like the idea of poring water into my nose, and makign it come out the other side.

My mom does that for her sinuses, except I think hers is called something different. It looks terrifying though. She can't do it in front of my brother because he freaks out! But since she started using it about a year or so ago, she hasn't had one single sinus infection. And she used to get them a lot. So I guess it really helped her, no matter how weird it looks!

Those pedegg things (and even just regular foot...graters...) just freak me out. I can't imagine grating my foot. It's just really freaky to me.

Oh and the neti pot. I could never do that either. I practically throw up whenever water gets up my nose.

It's not gross... it's just scary. I don't put things in my nose, and I'd like to keep it that way... which is why I don't use them.
