No kidding, my neighbor's yard birds wind up in my yard as well! (it's kinda hard to keep 'em out, we have 6 acres) He does give us eggs though! So I reckin' it's kosher!

How many? On a good day, I'll get 10 (roosters and hens).

We're far from 6 acres. We live in a mobile home park.

@ 12-18 or so. There had been some hawks "thinnin' out" his chicks. They let some more hatch. Chickens I can live with, it's when I'm relaxing in the recliner and glance up to see a horse or a cow next to my window in my den, thas gives me a jolt!

My parents have pasture to one side of their property. For several years their bedroom windows were ground level to the moo-moos and draft horses. I always enjoyed havin' 'em around.

LOL! I could have written the title to this thread! My new neighbors at the log home have chickens who are wandering into my yard all the time. Their roosters are kid of mean too! The other day he told me one of thr roosters bought it. I asked him if it tasted good, and he assured me they didn't eat it! My dogs will LOVE those being in the yard!

Fish don't scare me. We have a pact. I won't eat them, they won't eat me. Chickens and roosters found out I eat a lot of grilled chicken though.
