The movie Earth...Anyone see it yet?

Has anyone gone to see the movie Earth? What did ya think?

Haven't seen it-read a review that it is a 'cliff-notes' version of planet earth the disc series. It takes three of the families from the series. Would have like to go tonight....unfortunately I have a sick dd

My kids are not interested but we want to see it. We are going tonight.

We saw it on Wednesday. Visually stunning! There are several laugh out loud moments, some real cute babies, and a few "nature is merciless" heartbreaking scenes. No blood or predators feeding on dead carcasses scenes, but there are some scenes of lions attacking an elephant, wolves chasing a baby caribou, and a cheetah in slow motion taking down a gazelle. The poor polar bears really have their plight highlighted, too- global warming is doing terrible things to them. Lots of absolutely breathtaking shots of mountains, deserts, the Arctic, etc. The storyline covers a year on earth, with changing seasons, birth and death, and the migrations of several species. We gave it two big thumbs up!!

Its a great movie. That said... I had already seen it! lol I was sitting there and thinking "I just watched this on tv!" It is a compilation of documenteries that have already been aired. They have an Ocean one comming out too and that one is the samething. Great though.
