I was going to say the exact same thing! It is very well done. Well written. It was nice to see Sandra Bullock in something other than the fluff she is used to doing - something she can truly be proud of.chobie said:It was a very good, though-provoking movie.

I am curious.....what did you find or see that was hopeful about the movie?Miller1412 said:It is a great movie. Probably the best movie I saw in '05. It is a little dark, but very thought provoking and IMO the creators portray a hopeful attitude.
Hmmmmm.....you are right. I had not thought of it that way. I just thought they all seemed shocked at the terrible things they had done. I did not see it as a type of realization on their parts. Thanks!Miller1412 said:PLEASE DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT!!
I don't want to spoil too much, but some of the characters saw the horror of hate...the Iranian family, the hispanic family and the hope of their child. I even thought Matt Dillon's character had a change of heart. I just thought the characters saw their dependence on one another. But that's IMO.
