The Mouse-KIDS are in charge...a Jan '12 PTR NEW 2/5 TR link & new tickers

Flame Tree BBQ too! Chicken and onion rings for me please! I especially like the seating area down by the water and how they have the little stations with napkins and ketchup in each section.

I've never actually had a meal in AK, but I didn't want to not chime in for Nathan's question! I remember enjoying a drink I got once from the Royal Anandapur Tea Company though! Does that count? Even if I don't remember what the drink was?

(If the question was about Animal Kingdom LODGE, I'd have a much better answer!! :thumbsup2)

Good morning Mousescrapper Family!

I wanted to first let Julie know that you have collected a ton of information for NR's food issues, and that's the kind of loving mom that we know you are. NR will do great!

Secondly, to Nathan, we also love FTBBQ, especially my husband! For this challenge, however, I think I'm going to choose Yak N Yeti. Even though the lines always seem long, we love the food there and the variety. I've never been disappointed in what I've gotten.:goodvibes

May I pick FTBB as our favorite CS and Yak & Yeti as our favorite TS? LOL

hey Julie!

trying to catch up ... we like Cosmic Rays at MK (among many other greta places) and Flame Tree at AK.

I love the pics of your girls all dressed up at CRT. We are going to go back there in January since we loved it so much in May. And besides Elizabeth will still be free!!:thumbsup2

FYI -- Rachel is working on something for Rachel. We were away a lot over the past month or had family visiting us and finally it's settling down.

Yes, we started Elizabeth on a pressed penny book this past year. We got some from the National Zoo in DC last week and from Ocean City, NJ in July. So ours is not just a Disney one. And funny enough -- Disney is actually cheaper than our Zoo's. The zoo takes 3 quarters and 1 penny ... or one dollar bill and then they provide a "shiny new penny".

The Mouse Kids WDW Challenge:

1. What is your favorite Restaurant TS or QS in the Magic Kingdom?

QS: I like Pecos Bill's... something for everyone there and it has a kickin' fixin's bar!

TS: Crystal Palace breakfast with Pooh!

The Mouse Kids WDW Challenge:

2. What is your Favorite restaurant TS or QS in the Animal Kingdom?

QS: I like FTBBQ when it's nice to sit outside and Pizzafari when it isn't!

TS: Can you believe, I've never had a TS meal at AK! (I'll have to do something about THAT!) ;)

Kathy

GRRRRR  :badpc: so I just finished typing up the replies from Nathan and I and hit reply...when I get an error message had to hit the back button and BAM! they were gone...:headache:

OK so try two...sorry for the belated hello's from Nathan...can you believe he has better things to do that DIS w/ his Mom ;)

Nathan has good taste. FTBBQ is ours too. We aren't eating there this time though. :scared1: With the DxDP we just wanted to try lots of TS places we had never eaten at before so we opted for the Yak & Yeti.

I have never eaten at Y&Y but I bet it is good

I haven't eaten in many places in AK but I will pick Yak N' Yeti. The Kobe Beef Burger was so yummy and the wonton dessert out of this world!!

a wonton dessert does sound good!

Definitely Flame Tree BBQ for most of us too!

Although Tim really enjoyed his CS Yak & Yeti in March.

seems like alot of people like Y&Y TS or CS

Flame Tree BBQ too! Chicken and onion rings for me please! I especially like the seating area down by the water and how they have the little stations with napkins and ketchup in each section.

Yes I really like FTBBQ and the onion rings are really good! :thumbsup2

I have never noticed the napkin/ketchup stations...good tip!

My Mom says we are hoping to stay at AKV in 2013...so what is your fav place to eat at the Lodge?

yes inquiring minds want to know...and I always want to get a drink there...but never seem to, maybe in Oct. :thumbsup2

I'll have to go with FTBBQ as well....with the exception of all the birds! :scared1: Love the food though!

Why don't you like birds?

you could wear your grape necklace:rotfl:

grapes keep the birds away?

Good morning Mousescrapper Family!

she'll be excited!

maybe we'll have to send her a penny from Chicago :thumbsup2 and oh BTW we have decided to postpone the DC trip for next summer for now...maybe we'll revisit the though later...but sadly for now it's off :sad1:

I've a lot of catching up to do... OY! :snail:

Kathy

yeah what's up w/ that? JK glad to see you here

QS: I like Pecos Bill's... something for everyone there and it has a kickin' fixin's bar!

TS: Crystal Palace breakfast with Pooh!

CP is cool!

QS: I like FTBBQ when it's nice to sit outside and Pizzafari when it isn't!

yes it is nice there to even read a book...been to Pizzafari once on my birthday and got a huge bear claw cupcake too

TS: Can you believe, I've never had a TS meal at AK! (I'll have to do something about THAT!) ;)

Kathy

us either...

Just finished getting caught up on your PTR! Loved it all and the planning pages I saved to use for my binder! Thanks so much! Can't wait to hear more!

Tusker House is the winner for me! I love the theming and the breakfast buffet there! We have never tried Flame Tree, though. I hope to fix that on the next trip...whenever that might be! It always smells so good when we walk by it.

FTBBQ is probably our favorite too, unfortunately we've been there during HOT weather lately so we end up at Pizzafari to enjoy the air conditioning. ;) Tried Y&Y CS on our Spectrum Mom trip and liked that too.

We've never done a TS at AK either. :rolleyes1

It is tasty and seems to be the most popular QS choice among these readers...;) how are the elusive plans going?

YES HOT weather does make a differnece where you eat...

I'll have an actual planning post coming up real soon...but in the meantime, here is the next Challange Q. to keep you entertained...

The Mouse Kids WDW Challenge:

3. What is your favorite restaurant TS or QS in Epcot?

Rachel says:

Tutto Italia and Liberty Inn

(in her writing) “ TS Itily and QS Liperty in. I like the food! Pasta and chili yum my favites”

My Mom says we are hoping to stay at AKV in 2013...so what is your fav place to eat at the Lodge?

yes inquiring minds want to know...and I always want to get a drink there...but never seem to, maybe in Oct. :thumbsup2

Boma is great, especially for breakfast! We've also eaten at Jiko, which is our favorite out of the signatures we've been to. :)

Hmmm...favorite restaurant in Epcot? This is a tough one, since there are so many I still want to try! La Hacienda is great, and I have wonderful memories of Le Cellier (hopefully it's somewhat the same when we go back in January!). As far as CS, I absolutely have to go with Boulangerie Patisserie. Their Napoleons are awesome. And they have great sandwiches there too on baguettes.

And now I'm getting hungry....

A girl after my own heart -- I love Tutto Italia as well! The Mexican QS would have to be my favorite in that category, though.
