:welcome: Kathy! I'm happy you're here! The more the merrier :goodvibes

Last night I had a very scary dream. Probably not scary in terms of life and death but it's one of those nightmares that only fellow DISers can understand. I had made it down to see Bubba and we were getting ready to go to the parks. Then, I was going through my purse and realized that I had forgot all my money back at home :scared1: I was distraught. How was I going to pay for all my food? What about souvenirs?! Bubba wasn't happy but she said not to worry and that she'd pay for everything. So we left and went to the parks. As soon as we arrived at the parks, I noticed that my AP voucher was no where to be found. I had forgotten that TOO back at home :scared1: Not only did I not have money, I couldn't even get into the parks!!!! I was bawling. It was at this point that I woke up, very thankful that it was only a dream :worship:

Ironically, Bubba also had a dream last night about something going terribly wrong on my visit. Her's was about how she slept through my entire visit and when she did finally wake up, she already had to take me to the airport!

Looks like we're both suffering from anxiety and excitement about this trip.

After my dream though, I'm going to be double and triple checking my packing list versus what I've packed before I step out my door!!!

We all have those horrid nightmares before the trip. I always dream a week or two before the trip that I forgot something, or that one of us gets real sick or something. We just want our trips to be perfect.

We'll remind you before your trip to be sure you have everything. ;)

Wowsers, that's so spooky that you both had bad dreams at the same time! I'm sure everything will be perfect on your trip  You're probably a little more stressed out than you thought, as long as you tick everything off on your lists then you wont forget anything

Thanks JoJo. See, this is why I make lists. I'm not one of those people that can pack at the last minute. I take at least 3 days to pack completely. I also need an extensive list to make sure I don't forget anything! I'm going to post my packing list soon so you guys can point out anything I might be missing. :goodvibes

TOOTH EXTRACTION UPDATE: I am going to see my Dad's dentist (who was my dentist when I was really little) tomorrow morning to see what he thinks about my tooth. His office seems like heaven compared to the torture chamber I've been enduring at my current dentist's office. He has televisions in the rooms and massaging chairs! Talk about pampering! :cloud9:

The other night I was talking to Bubba about my tooth situation. I was stressed about how much money it was going to cost to get a bridge or implant - $2500 or $4000 respectively - as my insurance won't cover it. I just don't have that kind of money. I even asked about financing options but apparently the dentist office charges huge interest (my dentist said I'd be better off getting a bank loan :scared1: ). Then, without any hesitation, she offered to pay for the bridge. Bless her. I was very hesitant to accept her offer. I know she wants to help but it's a lot of money. So, I went to my parents to see if they'd be able to help with the expense, which they both agreed to. Hopefully splitting it four ways will make this whole ordeal a bit more manageable. I couldn't live with myself if my sister paid for the whole thing.

That's a pic of the two of us on my last visit in July :goodvibes

I'm glad you have got such a caring family who are willing to help with the cost of your tooth  Hope it gets sorted out soon for you :goodvibes

Your list looks great, I don't think your missing much... hmmm let's think ... what about a spoon for your cereals? Tissues for in your room or park bag?

Thanks JoJo  I'm going to write an update later tonight about my dentist visit that I had this morning when I'm not at work ;)

Spoons would be a good idea to bring. I'll have to see if Bubba can bring some of her own. Tissues! Never thought of that. I should probably get one of those purse pack sizes just in case. Thanks for the suggestions :thumbsup2

I found out today that I was not working on November 24th. Then the wheels started turning. Why come home a day early when I don't have to go to work the next day? :confused3 I immediately jumped on the phone to call my airline to see what it would cost to change my return. To my disbelief, it was going to cost a whopping $18.81. This was a no brainer. I went ahead with the switch but then realized I'd have to do something about where I was going to stay. I didn't really want to spend another night at ASMusic so I started searching on the TA Disney website to see what was available (and what I could afford) for one night. CBR only had pirate rooms left, which I don't like the location of at the resort. Didn't want to stay at POFQ again so soon. GF was a little (okay, a lot) out of my price range. I really wanted to try something new....

ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE!!!

I booked myself and my sister in a Standard view room at AKL!!!!! I would have done Savannah view but it wasn't available and, even if it was, I probably wouldn't have spent the extra money since it was only going to be for one night. I have always wanted to stay here, partly because one of my all time favourite Disney movies is The Lion King. Plus, I'm a huge animal lover! It was meant to be :cloud9: The cost for the one night stay at AKL is very doable so I thought, why not?

Oh my gosh. I am soooooo excited now! Yes, I was totally pumped before but now I think I could explode with excitement!!! :yay::hyper:

Bubba probably won't get the extra day off to spend with me but that's alright. I don't mind taking a solo day to do what I want. I'm so overwhelmed with choices of what to do that I can't decide!!! What do you think I should do? I'm open to suggestions :cutie:

7 days to go!!!

So first off, congratulations on the extra day, and wow AKL amazing, I'm a little envious right now.

second, it is so wonderful that your family is going to help you out with the dentist fees and what not, how is all of that going for you? Are you postponing until after your trip? Which is in days, less then a week, wow! I'm so excited for you.

Thanks Ty :cutie: I'm really excited for AKL. I'm going to take TONS of pictures as my mom wants a FULL report on the resort.

The whole dentist situation had really been stressing me out. I'm glad I went to get the second opinion. My family and I have figured out an amount at we're all going to contribute to the dental fees. Yes, I'm postponing it until after my trip. There was no way I could find time to get my tooth pulled before I go as I'm working almost every day. Not to mention be able to deal with the worry and stress of the procedure. I wouldn't have liked a gap in my mouth either when I'm trying to eat all that wonderful Disney food

Ugh! I have lots to do in the next 4 days before my trip. I'll try to keep updating as much as I can. I still have a whole extra day to plan out now

It's come to the point in my trip planning where my brain starts saying "Overload. System Overload" :lmao: Really though, I can't seem to think straight. Here is what has been rolling through my head:

1. I can't decide what I want to do on my last full day (Nov 23rd). HELP!!!

2. Haven't even started packing. My suitcase is still sitting in the corner of the room where it has sat since July.

3. Have 2 loads of laundry to do :laundy:, which I must do tomorrow as it is my only day off before I leave.

4. Still have to get through 3 more days of work. How the heck am I going to concentrate?!

5. I'm worried I'm going to forget something. All the things that I need to bring are sprawled out in various places around the basement (where my living space is). I must get organized!!!!

6. So worried I'm going to get sick right before I go. In fact, I'm so paranoid that I picked up "Airborne" today to ward off any germs that come my way. Will start taking this tomorrow.

Okay it doesn't seem that bad when I list it out like that. This is a good thing. Okay, I can manage..............

JEN!!! GET A GRIP OF YOURSELF!!!! :rotfl:

This is so spooky!! I've just this minute said to my hubby that I'm starting to feel like i'm on my way to being stressed out, so I know how you're feeling honey  I think we all get like this when we are sooo close to our trips :headache:

On your last full day why dont you re-do the things you loved most on your trip? Then you can leave disney on a high :cloud9:

As long as your case is packed by the time you travel then it doesnt matter when you start it. Maybe just start gathering bits together or writing some lists

Shove that washing in the washer and get it out of the way, then you wont be worrying about it.

Don't bother concentrating at work, you're going disney so you are allowed to ignore work for a few days  ;)

You wont forget anything, just do your tick lists and you'll be fine

I'm sure you wont be sick for your trip, just look after yourself and de-stress

Am I the only one not stressing out? LOL. 16 days out, and I'm just eager for the time to pass quicker, that's all. I still have some things to take care of before the trip, but I am confident it will all come together in time. Relax!!! :goodvibes

So I'm not the only one! I was considering leaving my last day open. After reading over my itinerary, I would have hit all the parks at least once. Doesn't leave much left to do by Day 5! I have scheduled in another dinner and breakfast (which will be left as a surprise) but that's about it for my last days at Disney.

I'm going to get my washing done TODAY!

Oh, I was LONG gone thinking about work about a week ago :lmao: Thanks for all the comforting words JoJo :hug:

YES YOU ARE! :rotfl: It's good to be that way though. The more relaxed, the better. Plus, you can think straight when you don't have a million things running through your mind. I think I should take up yoga/meditation or something :rolleyes1

Over the last couple of days, I have been busy packing and getting organized for the trip. I packed most of the stuff that I will be bringing for Bubba and just need to pack in my clothes. I didn't want to pack them too early so they won't get wrinkly. I hate wrinkly clothes :headache:

Mickey Mail came today for our one-night stay at AKL. This package came in record time! Now if only they could be like this when you make your reservation more than 45 days out

Today at work went by SO. SLOWLY. It doesn't help matters that the place is not busy at. all. I actually spent most of my time on the DIS :rolleyes1 and playing games via Facebook. :rolleyes1 Hey, what else am I supposed to do to make the time go faster? The next 2 days are going to be quite the struggle.

I found out today that it's supposed to rain (rather heavily) here on my departure day :scared: Hopefully the worst of the rain will hold off for the early part of the morning so my plane can take-off with no delays :thumbsup2 My time is already as tight as can be. No delays allowed! I'm going to bring a book to read just in case. I normally just bring my iPhone for entertainment but don't want to waste the battery in the event that I'm stuck at the airport longer than expected. Let's just hope the whole rain dodges my airport and those weather reporters are just plane WRONG.

This all seems so surreal right now. It doesn't feel like I'm going to Disney in 2 days. The stress has passed and I've reached a realm of calm. It's very refreshing actually :cloud9: Then, there's another part of me that is so excited that I could pee my pants!!!!!! :hyper:

Soon I will have this in on the plate in front of me.... MMMmmmmm yum yum yum

Okay, not sure what the day is going to be like at the office tomorrow, so I am posting this now as promised:
