Did anyone here ride Soarin and feel like they were gonna slide out of their seat while you were up in the air?

Yes, I sure DID! I was very uneasy...you are basically sitting on a lawn chair with your feet dangling and a simple seat belt (like in you car) only on your lap.

I was planning on taking a week here in July to get back but because of some unscheduled things that have come up it looks like it will have to be a weekend trip. I am trying for this weekend.

Well I quess the only way for me to get over this is to actually ride Soarin for myself.
I wonder if it would make it to the headlines if someone did fall out. At 6'2", me and lawn chairs dont get along

I don't do too well with heights, so I was freaking out. It was very beautiful though. No one in my party complained about the height...I was the only one holding on for dear life! We rode on the 3rd row. This means I didn't go up as high as the 2nd and Ahhh-1st. Can't imagine how much It would've freaked me out going in the 1st row.

I don't know the exact height, but it was enough to make me nervous.

Nope, it's def. as high as it looks...I peaked down as soon as we went up...we were about 2 stories up (I think--I'm not good with measuring).

1 story = 10 feet
2 stories = 20 feet and that was the 3rd row, also known as the LOW row.

Ummm, did I mention I dont do ladders well.
