Hey thats great that you remembered Tink! Thankyou!

I just thought of something....do all the special 50th "GOLD" ears have the Disneyland logo or does WDW have their own?
You're very welcome.:goodvibes

They have the DisneyLand logo.

Aloha Ohana!

Do I even need to ask how it was? :earboy2:

Did you go to work today? I decided not to.....
Yes...and it's the longest morning back ever!

The trip was great. I did soarin' for the first time and all I can say about that is 'WOW'. Simply breath-taking...what an awesome ride. My new fav. by far. I also did Stitch for the first time and it was very disappointing. I wanted to believe it was better than what I've read about, but my fellow DISer's were right. It looks like a cheap recycled ride. There is no point or story to the ride.

Oh, and I have a HUGE complaint! The Pooh ride was changed! It used to spin in the neon room and bounce along with Tigger --none of that happens now. I don't get it? I hope this isn't permanent...that ride was aweful this time.

Disney bus/monorail get a A+ from me! Never waited more than 5 min in both POLY and CBR.

One more thing, I went on the people mover in between rides just to relax and take in the beauty of Tomorrowland. As we passed through Space Mountain the ride was experiencing some sort of problem and they turned all the lights on! Ahh! I saw SPACE MOUNTAIN in the 'nude'. Very disturbing. It looks like a piece of junk with all the lights turned on. I'm glad I had already riddin it that day, because after that there's no way I would've gone on it.

that awsome you saw space mountain in the nude.... i always wanted to see that...

Well wish me luck next week on riding the refurbished space mountain in disneyland next week!

Ooh..lucky you! I heard the improved SM is really nice and a lot smoother.

Can you share with me the link you used to make your ticker?

Thanks!

Soarin does have me excited! I am really looking forward to trying it out. Stich and Pooh were not on my to do list, so I quess i wont be missing anything.
I'm glad you mentioned the transportation. It sounds like they were prepared well for the holiday crowds. Hoping onto the monorail from the Polynesian must've beed great. Did you try any of the exotic adult drinks from the Polynesian?

So, you got to see Space Mountain in the rough eh....... :rotfl2:

Any good photo op's?

I didn't try any drinks at the POLY...kept the trip PG ;) I just enjoyed pretending to be a kid again. I took a couple pics here and there. I have some on my home comp., so maybe I'll post some tonight.

Oh and I cannot stress enough on how EVERYONE must buy a refillable mug! It is a $ saver in the end. I drank enough Mello Yellow to fill up an aquarium all 5 days! I refilled for breakfast, lunch, and dinner sometimes! Well worth the $ I spent on it. Now, I have a new mug to drink from at home too. Yay!:cool1:

You're going to LOVE the POLY. It IS a little pricey though. Same food in all Disney food courts yet a lot more expensive.

Same food, higher price..... That figures.

Hopefully we wont have to depend on it much since we will be staying concierge at both resorts. The refillable mugs sounds like a good idea and a great souvenir.

Oh...you're going all out I see. LUCKY!! lol...we are kinda on a budget considering we took a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean this past May. BTW, being a FL resident rocks! We were able to get great discounts on the Tickets and Rooms.:cool1:

Welcome Back MissTink!
I tried 'Soaring' at DL and I loved it there, can't wait to go on it again in WDW!
