So I walk into my room a few minutes ago and find this...

Apparently now that DS is in his own big crib in his own room, our darling Rex has taken possession of the baby's former premises. I can honestly say we never caught him doing this in the months DS used it. At least he was polite enough to wait :rotfl:

Cute! I bought a bed for the dogs and now its the Cats! :confused3 :lmao:

How cute! I like the first pic, with just the eyes peeping over the top.

So, whattya going to do? Take it down, or turn it into a cat bed? :confused3

Awwww.

Had something similar. A friend's husband built furniture and had made their daughters crib/toddler bed. I bought it from them when she was 6. At the time, I had no child planned, but I thought it was a bargain for a beautiful bed (300, when something similar at Baby Superstore was about 800 dollars). My black lab took over the toddler bed portion of it.

When I had my eldest, I had to buy new mattresses because the other had been covered with dog hair. Still was a bargain.

BTW, your son is adorable!

Very cute!

We had to move DS to a regular bed by age 2 since he and the 20 LB cat did not fit in his crib.

Digitals weren't around yet and I haven't scanned in the picture of our 20 some pound feline who loved sitting in the baby swing in the weeks before DS was born. We'd come home from work and find her sound asleep in the swing. (She graciously gave it up to him once she heard him scream at dinner time!) :wave2:

Those pictures are great. My DH has a habit of leaving one of his dresser drawers open each day and one of my cats loves to sleep on his clothes and one of the other likes to sleep on his pillow before he comes up to bed. They don't seem to care that he's allergic :rolleyes1 .

You know, we haven't figured that out yet. We planned to take it down, just didn't get around to it. It doesn't take up much space so we've just let it sit there. Now I don't know.

See, ever since we got this cat (probably 7 years ago) he sleeps in bed with us -- and always ON my pillow. Luckily the pillow is king sized and my head is relatively small (DH's noggin is enormous but that's another story for another day!) so the cat and I share. It's kind of cute most of the time. But sometimes he hogs the pillow, so now that he's hanging out in the bassinet, maybe he won't try to sleep on my head so much.

On the other hand, winters are pretty cold up here and I could use the heater on my head. :confused3

Decisions, decisions! :teeth:

Thanks Suzanne! Hopefully I'll post a new pic in my sig this week -- DS on his first Halloween in his Pooh costume!

I've always loved your antenna topper "bouquets"!
