The most challenging planning of my life!

I admit it. When it comes to vacations, I overplan. I have a binder, dividers, a table of contents, maps, interesting trivia, best restaurants, etc. etc. etc. We've done a week in Italy, 10 days in France, 2 weeks in Alaska (one week cruise, one week drive), but this Disney trip has almost been insurmountable! :lmao:

1. I've got UG, TGM and Passporter.
2. I've made and re-made ADRs too many times to even admit here among DISers who would understand more than anyone.
3. I've been on this board for ridiculous hours on a daily basis (when a member of my family sees me at the puter, all they now say is "DISing again, huh?" Then they roll their eyes -- arghhh!)

NOW, I've done the free upgrade to hoppers and the plus thingie, which adds Disney Quest, water parks and HOPPING to the mix. OMG! I need another binder.

Binder :rotfl: I have a Disney planning FILE CABINET! I am sure you will too before too long since you sound like me!

I can relate. On my first couple of trips, I had index cards for every single attraction that listed best times to go, the fright rating (why, I don't know, the kid was 11), if it was a slow loading or interval loader or continuous loader, etc. My family thought I was nuts. We had a weekend in St. Louis at a sports card show and while the boys were out, I sat along the Mississippi and planned our trip. After 40 trips, I have amassed a Disney library.

For our 25th anniversary, people are shocked we aren't going to Disney World. We're going to Disneyland. Needless to say, I'll soon have a Disneyland portfolio too.

But ain't it great?

I just came home from a long weekend in NYC with my mom and her sister. My sister and her partner were also there, but on a separate itinerary since my sister was performing as part of her trip. My mom and aunt were a little startled when I e-mailed them a spreadsheet with our planned activities and all the confirmation numbers! They thought I was going overboard. I thought it made sense to have everything on 1 piece of paper! I am far worse with WDW planning since I know WDW better than NYC!
