The Morrison Family is finally going to take fulfill their fantasy and take a trip on the Disney Fantasy!!!​

Well....I had a HUGE post already to post and went to review it and the computer/website locked up on me So I lost everything I typed for the past 2 hours!!! I'm still gonna post info about our family, the planning process up until now. But sorry its not going to be right now. I'm pooped lol. But I will tell you the cast members, the following are everyone in the family that has decided to go with us. Everyone else in the family is party spoilers lol Me - Tasha (34 as of the cruise) DH - Josh (31) DD - Zoey (4) aka Zomo DFIL - Rob (57) DMIL - Mary (53) - actually DH's stepmom - best MIL ever!! Tonight I want to talk a little about our family. Well we have been wanting to plan a Disney trip for a long time but really didn't think it was good idea until DD was older, but I know I was wrong.

So its been a long time since I've been to WDW. Anyways, my family use to go on vacations all the time when we were young. I remembering going to WDW many times as a young child. One thing that really sticks out as a child is we were walking around and Cinderella walks up to me and gives me a blue balloon. I has in princess heaven!!! My mom tied it to the my sisters stroller and somehow my sister got it free and it was gone. I was soo sad!! But I did enjoy my time at WDW. Now I can't remember if we ever stayed in a Disney Resort. Reminds me I should ask my mom lol. In 1990, my mom and dad had another child so we didn't get back to WDW until my baby sister turned 5 (that's when my dad promised her we would go). And I went one more time either in '94 or '96 but I can't remember. Can you believe I haven't been to WDW in almost 18 years??

DH has never been to WDW!! Can you believe he has never been??? Well he missed his one and only time, the only summer his mom and stepdad decided to go is the summer he had to go to summer school. Bummer but what can you say, he was around the age of 12 and liked to goof off lol.

My DH and I have been married for 12 years now (February 16, 2001). We married really young and didn't really vacation just the two of us. We went on our 1st vacation together to Savannah GA in 2004. The summers that followed we went to different places, my favorite place is to the Smokey Mountains!!! Anyways, DH went on a cruise with Carnival once and that was before we were married. He had been on me for a long time to take a cruise. I always thought their prices were out of reach, thinking only rich people went on cruises. My family never went on vacations that involved ships or planes. We only went by car lol. Well DH finally convinced me in 2007 and I was ready so we booked our 1st cruise together on RCCL's Freedom of the Seas, Western Caribbean tour. I was hooked afterwards!! Well in April of 2008 I got a new job (my current job) and in June that year we went on that 1st cruise. Soon after we returned we decided we wanted to book the inaugural sailing of RCCL's Oasis for the following year in December. So as soon as we could start booking a cabin we did!! Well by this time we had been married for over 7 years and we had been trying for years to have our own child. So we figured it was about time we make an appointment with a specialist to find out why we couldn't have a child. In September 2008 we went into the doctors expecting to be told that we wouldn't ever have our own child. But the good Lord had better plans. The doctor examined me and once he did the ultrasound he told me I was pregnant!! I was already 6 weeks pregnant. So excited I was finally going to have either a DD or DS, of course later we found out we were having a girl. DD was due April 2009 and my DH and I were scrambling to prepare. We lived in a tiny 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor and we knew that was going to suit us with a new baby. So the house hunt was on. Everyone hates having to search for a house. Anyways, DH and I decided it really wasn't feasible for us to take the cruise in December. The Oasis is an expensive ship. Well we knew we were going to need to save for the new DD and our new house. After DD was born we knew that one day we would want to take her to WDW but we wanted to wait until she was a little older. Well at last minute we decided to take a short cruise at Thanksgiving on RCCL's Monarch of the Seas to the Bahama's. DD's 1st ever cruise and 1st time she went out of the country. Then in August 2011 we finally went on the Oasis (Eastern Caribbean) when DD was a little over 2 years old. I still to this day don't know why we hadn't planned to take a trip to WDW prior to this. Anyways, on the way home from our last cruise we made the decision we were going to Disney!! When...well we knew it wouldn't be in 2012 because we had 2 sisters that were getting married that year and it would be impossible to go anywhere besides those weddings. One was 3 hours away in a town just below Charlotte NC and the other was 13 hours away in NJ. So there was our vacations last year besides one camping trip to the lake.

Shew I know that was a lot but I wanted to give y'all a little background on us and our vacation history. I guess this will conclude my entry for tonight and I will call it a night. I'm going to try and attach some pictures of us. Actually if anyone has any tips on how to add pics let me know, I can't figure it out ugh. Lol oh well hope I can figure out tomorrow night.

Wow!!! It's been awhile since I've been on here! I know I've been slacking. Well three weeks from right now we will be trying to catch some zzzz's before our cruise. Can't wait super excited!! Won't be much longer now. Thanks to everyone that is following along and I apologize for not updating more!!
