You know how you guys are all happy and relieved that the two sons of Saddam Hussain are out of the picture? Well its NOTHING to how happy (maybe happy is not an appropriate word?) my parents/grandparents and everyone else is. See, 13 years ago we came to the US cause of the Iran-Iraq war (I was born in Iran) Those two ********* ruined more lives than you could ever possibly imagine. The hatred I feel for them and that my family feels for them can NOT be understood or even possibly explained.
Now, i'm not a big fan of people getting killed but in this case, i'm thrilled.

I can only imagine the mood in your house, Von. To hear the stories about Hussein's regime is shocking, terrifying, and disgusting. I'm sure there are no words to describe what people feel who have lived through it.

No matter anyone's view on the Iraq conflict, I'm sure we all can agree that Hussein's reign of terror needed to end. No one should have to live under the fear, terror and dread that some, if not most, of the country had to live under. It should have been done long ago.

My Dh (ex-82nd Airbourne) was quite pleased with todays news.
When they showed the photos on TV he was telling me how evil they are and how happy he is that they have been stopped.
