Lovely morning so far despite the heat and crowds. I do feel a little bad for those people on scooters. To be in a FP line uneccesarily is so frustrating. Maybe they really didn't mind cause it sounds like they didn't have a clue.

I agree with you about the Coronado's pool. I prefer POR. Of course, I'm not a big CSR fan to begin with. Its too grown up for me.

Don't feel bad about not feeling your phone vibrate - I do that all the time! Sometimes it'll be in a pretty snug fitting pocket and I STILL don't feel it - I'm not sure what that says about me

I wish we'd taken the time to see Yeehaw Bob on our last stay at POR. My brother went down one night and really enjoyed it. Looks like you guys had a blast. I love the picture of Judy when Bob called her name!

Okay, so we are supposed to be doing Judy sightings? I must have missed the initiation of this game since I was only reading the chapters until this last one. I'll give it a shot next time....

I'm sitting here sweating buckets wondering what your score was. And I'm reading and reading and reading and you're just not getting to the score! But I was good and didn't scroll down right away

I showed him a piece of paper, with my hand-written notes. “I jotted this down from the Internet. They’re ways to boost your score on Toy Story Mania.” Boy, did his eyes light up. I had wanted to read over them with him while we were on the plane the day before, but I just never got around to it. He was playing with his Nintendo DS the whole time, and I was reading and resting. Anyway, he didn't want the girls to get this valuable information, so he said in a loud voice, “ah, let’s go outside and put some sunscreen on.” (Like he ever does that voluntarily.) Then we went outside of the room and started quickly reading the game tips. There was something for each scene on how to get some higher-point-value targets. On some of them, we had to work together. For example, we’d each have to shoot 5 balloons on each of our sides of the screen, only once, and then some higher targets would appear. Stuff like that. It was a lot to remember, and we had very little time.

Sooooo Mr. Glen has gone so far as to find a cheat sheet!

Uh oh. This could be your ticket to my defeat.

As we neared the loading area, I started cracking my knuckles and limbering up my pop-gun arm. And I checked the “notepad” function on my cell phone. I had keyed-in Jenbear’s score that I needed to beat -- 179,200. Nuts, that was pretty darned high.

Okay I'm dying here! It's high... but still beatable!

We boarded our car and off we went. The only “tip” for higher-score targets that either James or I could remember from my internet cheat-sheet, was to get the fox in the henhouse in the first scene. Did that. Oh yeah, then a little mouse. Okay, now what? After a couple of scenes, I could tell that I was waaaay off the pace. My final score was 147,500. Not nearly enough to beat Jenbear, not this time anyway, but at least I beat James.

Well, I was sitting here wondering...how did jenbear improve her score so much? And I suspected, maybe she found some hints online somewhere. I'll be very curious to see if she has a confession to make.

In absolute honesty, I never looked up any hints online prior to my last visit to TSM. I swear on Bubba's life (and that's pretty steep) that I didn't. I just went at it and hit as many targets as possible

Of course, I told myself that I didn't have to admit to the hints. I could just write that I didn't beat her score and leave it at that. But what fun would the TR be then?

So you didn't beat it??? Or is there still more to this... you still have 2 more attempts that I have to sweat over, right? The hints would be hard to remember... there seems to be SO many.

our last trip in April of this year we were only at Disney for 3 1/2 days so we didn't hit DHS but DS9 wanted so bad to go to Toy Story Mania and I told him next time.

Don't exaggerate....the rules can't be longer than the MAN-ual, by definition.

Oh and on the subject of Mr. Potatohead I once saw him without his ear... I guess it sometimes fails to reattach it Creepy! Hahaha!

And I knew there were some strategies for high scores in TSM, but I didn't know some of them required team work. although I think I wouldn't even try... the game is funny enough to just blast away without thinking.... and I don't remember the score but I always end getting the funny blue cat.

It's a very unofficial game we started after the Pepper Mill chapter. We saw Judy waaay in the back in one of the pictures, and it became like "where's Waldo".

Goodness! I was a week away from your TR and I missed 10 pages. You are the popular man. The Yeehaw Bob Show looks like a lot of fun and I loved Dan and Candi's matching outfits. I am impressed you went to DTD afterward and almost made rope drop the next morning. I think I need your TSM tips as I don't think I have every broken 150k in the 5 or 6 times I have been on it. Looking forward to reading some more updates soon.
