The MK..Open 24 hrs?

What if the MK was open 24 hrs during the busy times such as Christmas, Spring Break, Thanksgiving and Summer? Heck with EMH morn and evening it is almost open 24 hrs as it is.

The only problem is they turn the park over at night and in the early mornings .Steam clean common areas ,test everyrideand so forth.

But if it was I would stay and do the entire 24 just to say I did it.That would be so cool as I'm a night person with a early ( 6:00am ) riser problem.

I love your optimism, but how would an amusement park benefit from being open 24 hrs (especially one that really attracts the little ones)? From what I've read, the 3am EMH has very low attendance. Now maybe if the MK started filling prescriptions or selling diapers, you might be onto something.

The other issue is, someone could 'theoretically' stay in the park for days at a time, using only one day's admission. Though I don't know who would have that kind of indurance...you'd have to look for people sleeping under trees, or sleeping on the TTA or the railroad.

Management has thought about doing just this in the past, and I think it would work. Maybe one day.

It came pretty close to that closing at 4:00am we didnt leave till 4:30 and I think they opened at 7 or 8am

The success of 24 hour operation of course will depend on how much revenue from refreshments and souvenirs is realized between 4 and 6 AM.

Modifying the fastpass machine programming to mark tickets as used that day (instead of denying a fastpass for tickets not already used) may be judged to be sufficient to allow 24 hour operation without worrying about admission and turnstiles. But there may be undesirable side effects such as if someone accidentally uses a ticket not meant to be used that day.
