The method for getting a PIN worked for me and many others!!! YMMV

I took the advice floating around the board and created itineraries stated that I would NOT be staying at a Dsiney resort and I got the 20/30/40 all year PIN! Now I can book for my F&W trip for October and stay deluxe!

I know it was because of the itineraries because the email started with the following verbiage:

How many itineraries did you creat and how long did you have to wait to get the e mail? We have created ours like 6 days ago. (we have messed with them a few time) Just wondering thanks for the post.

This is my 6th day (4th business).

I tried the itinerary thing on 4 comcast and 3 yahoo accounts....nothing.

I deleted all of my itineraries and my saved offers. I then created one itinerary for a trip stating I was staying offsite because I didn't think a disney resort was the best value for me and voila. Got the 20/30/40 Pin Code this morning that will work with our trip in November. Good bye ASM and hello Wilderness Lodge!

I tried it multiple ways and then stopped and re read and followed the directions exactly and there it was. Hope it works for you all too.

It can take months to finally actually get a pin.. it took ME 3 years, but then once they started, it has been a waterfall of PINS... new ones every three months in both email and snail mail!

I meant it's been 3 days since I tried the itinerary thing on line that seems to be getting a lot of people pins. I have had a couple of pins in the past. I've had at least one in snail mail and at least one in e-mail. I haven't had a flood of them though. Consider yourself lucky! We're hoping to go this fall, so there's still a good chance we'll get some kind of a discount. I just would like to know right away b/c we're looking at on site vs. off site this year.

Back in Jan it worked for me as well. We had a PIN for Feb and were debating on whether or not to get APs (I saved a few trips for the week after Thanksgiving) and we got the PIN 2 days after I saved 4 or so different vacations for that week. We did book but changed it to the bounceback while at WDW (5% more discount!) Anyway of all the PINs I've received over the years, this one I really know it attributed to my saved trips (never did that before either just did it since some on the boards recommeded it) since it did reference one of them!

It worked!!

Last Thursday, I saved one vacation offer and one itinerary (saying I did not need resort reservations). I've been checking email relentlessly---nothing.

About ten minutes ago, I went in and deleted both of the above. Within FIVE minutes I had the 20/30/40 in my email!!!!

Thank you all for the great advice and ideas!!

For those who haven't received a pin yet, try deleting all your saved offers and itineraries and see what happens. I think Disney thinks you're cancelling all your plans when you delete and they try to reel you back in!!!

I'm definitely reeled back in!!

I too have been like you, except not posting b/c your taking care of all my questions for me....

I am desperate for a 40% off. We have gotten a postcard and an email for Free QS dining, but no good for my dates...

I have tried every way and I almost want another dis'er to do the steps for me, b/c I am certain that I MUST be doing SOMETHING WRONG!!!!!!!

I have even created two more profiles in Husband and daughters name and email, but ZIP ZERO ZILCH ( I am impatient though ) It has been a few days for one, and only did the other on Saturday.

Now I have deleted all itineraries and offers and everything. So... I will TRY and do nothing now.

((( I even created an itinerary saying I was stayin at Universal for the first 5 days, and off property for the remainder 5 days ))) Still .... NOTTA!


I think that all the pins are great, but I also think they will be public offers by the end of this month anyways... It would be just great to secure our booking since we know what we want and when we want it! Then normal life could carry on! And the countdown would be solidified!

Oh yeah - I have called too, and asked my husband to call... I hate the phone call!

Im right there with you! I have 7 accounts to check. My days are spent log in, log out, log in, log out, log in, refresh, log out etc.....

The instructions given work in some circumstances - but not all. Please do not say 100% - I appreciate as do others your enthusiasm, and am happy for you, but I am almost positive if the folks at Disney who are (maybe)watching and monitoring this see this kind of thing (not just the boards) it will change in a heartbeat.

I did all of this stuff for literally years and finally got a code this year, yes, I know I just double talked myself. But in between we also said to heck with Disney and went cruising for a couple of years - so maybe we should add that to the sequence of events ie ignore Disney for a few years..see what I mean???

Who knows what ridiculous computer program they have chewing away at the names of past guests versus money spent versus time spent etc etc...

My point is folks get stressed out enough before during and after a Disney visit, please don't add this to your stress as well.
