The metal cups Lookout Cay?

Does anyone know if you can keep those metal cups they serve your drinks in at the various bars/smoothie bar from Lookout Cay or do they reuse them?

Example of the cups. They also have them in blue.

The only straws we had there were at the bar and they were flavored edible straws. They are fairly wide. They were the same ones we got at Castaway Cay at the bar.

They use the same paper straws as everywhere else Disney. Thankfully no plastic straws anywhere. I took my own metal one to use.

They do want those metal cups back to reuse!

Are they using plastic straws at LC?

We were given candy straws on our July cruise. They don't tell you the straws are candy though. I was eating mine and a lady next to me said she didn't know it was a candy straw and would have thrown her's away if she hadn't seen me eating mine. It tasted good, much better than some I've had at other places.

I brought one back to the ship and they removed it from my bag when it went thru the scanner. They had about a dozen of them stacked up that I assume they had taken from others before me.
