Tried to sleep in a little because of late night last night - but I am up and at 'em at 9:00. Got to Epcot at about 11:00. Mom and Dad were already there and we met up with Dan, Peg and Casey. Went right to Test Track to get fast pass. Mom and Dad had already been on twice! Once with fast pass and once they were let on with a group of GM employees. Since mom and dad had already done a few things they went off on their own and we stayed with my brother for a few.

Did Energy and Spaceship Earth and then went to the land for some lunch. I think everyone got the baked potatoes. Yummy! Actually rode the land too, hadn't done that one since my first trip in '85. We split up after lunch and we did Imagination and the 3D show. Imagination really lacks in imagination and I really missed Figment. This used to be my favorite attraction and I still have my figment doll. Enjoyed the 3D movie. DadMc thinks he is the only one that the water effects etc. happens too!

We did everything in future world except the Living Seas and Innoventions and were off to the worlds to see TON and Illuminations. Stopped at Canada first and got a beaver tail with strawberries and cream - Yummy! As I ordered I see someone get something that looked like soup (as it was cool out) and it was the Cheddar Soup so of course I tried some and it was delicious! Danny loved it (he's' a cheese freak). Mom and Dad went back later in the week to get some but since it had warmed up they were not serving it at the outside booth.

Looked around in a few shops a little and met Mom and Dad near Morocco for TON. This was a nice parade but I was a little disappointed, I expected hundreds of these puppets dancing around but it was more like 4 or 5 at a time. Don't get me wrong, I still liked it and thought the music was wonderful (I still sing it!) - I was just expecting something different. Videod a lot and took lots of photos. After the parade we got in line for Candellight Processional. Waited about ½ and hour in line, not bad. It was a little chilly and Danny was tired so he was pretty grumpy. The show was wonderful and I taped some of it. (we had bought the CD in the Christmas shop earlier in the week.)

Went off to Germany to meet up with Dan, Peg and Casey for Illuminations. Got a pretzel and a beer and watched the show. This was really neat with great fireworks. Walked out with the tons of people and had to wait a while for the bus. Back to the room at about 11:00 and wrote a little in my diary and off to sleep.

We never saw the original Imagination ride, but we're huge Figment fans. You wouldn't believe all of the Figment stuff we've collected.

Your trip reports are making me hungry. :D Thanks for sharing them with us, Kathy. :)

Another fun filled day. Thanks for posting! I miss Figment too

Kathymc, Thanks for your report on Epcot.

We also miss Figment. Grandson has a Figment stuffed animal too. This was one of his favorite rides also. after our trip in 98 he took it to bed every night for a week. He had WDW withdrawal and cried every night. Figment seemed to ease his sadness.

We were unaware that this would be the last time we would be seeing this ride. So sad. :( Somewhere inside he must have known.
