The March of the First Order

So I was sitting at Pizza Port a few minutes ago when I began to hear a faint rumbling. It grew steadily louder as it seemed to pass over Tomorrowland. It sounded like a really low helicopter. I wondered what was happening. Then I was told it was an Imperial shuttle landing. Moments later, these guys came marching out. Sounded very real. I almost believed a shuttle was landing. It's something new -- I've never seen it before. Apparently they just stared doing it on Friday. The sound was very real. I plan to catch it again at 1:10 today.

The stormtroopers began their march around TL in search of resistance fighters. It’s always great to see something new at DL.

Does this happen daily and somewhat scheduled or is it random? My son would absolutely LOVE this!!!

Not sure how long it lasts but it is a scheduled event.

Love this! They've been doing it at WDW for so long, I'm glad it's finally here! Wish DD and DH could have seen it a few weeks ago when we were there, but I'll send video when I go there in a few weeks!

Here's what a CM told me about this today. For now, it's a daily event at least until the end of May. While it will be performed three or four times a day, there's no formal schedule and it will not appear on the DL website, in the app or in printed materials. While I was there, I happened to catch it at 11:00, 1:10 and then about 2:40. Hope you get to see it .

FYI, the CM I spoke with today said that the times were not solidified and were subject to change on a day-to-day basis.

Can confirm they came back around 5:30 today. It was really cool - the "landing" is really loud.

I was excited to see it yesterday too. It is printed on the entertainment schedule but very small (near the jedi training schedule). We saw this in WDW a couple of years ago. My kids are huge Star Wars fans so they loved it! They start at the top of the Carousel of Innovation aka Launch Bay and Fasma (?) has a speech there and then they march down the ramp. They go around around the water ball and march a little past the Star Wars store and stop there for some more speeches. Then they march back in front of the Launch Bay and have another set of speeches. Then they march back up the ramp -- In case you want to stake out good viewing points.

We aren't going until July so hoping it is still going on then
