The March 2014 Thread!!!!

Hi Jenny, what's your favorite thing from Artists Point? We tried it last October and I didn't come away love it. Maybe it was the night or just my palate.
Hi Cinderella's Slipper!
To be honest, I haven't dined at Artist Point before. It was on my "must do" list, and I thought this trip would be the perfect time to try it out. My favorite place to dine is Narcoossees. Yummy!!! Have you tried it?
Anyway, totally agree that an "adult only" trip will make me a better mommy!!! It will DEFINITELY bring extra magic to my marriage!!!! Thanks for the extra pixie dust!!!

Hey guys! My sister and I started booking our Fast Passes tonight. I was so scared it was going to be a difficult process with all the bad experiences I keep reading about but I am happy to announce that so far, everything is going smoothly! Even switching times which is the part I was REALLY worried about went just fine!

Question about the Quick Service side of Be Our Guest... I remember reading a few months back that you could use a fast pass for it. I have not seen it listed as a choice...anyone have any further info on this matter?

I was reading about this yesterday. It doesn't appear that any slots are opened up for March yet (I tried yesterday for our dates - 11-18 March), however the FP+ for BOG lunch doens't appear on MDE like the other FP+ experiences. You have to go to a special website to check if any are available. Just put in your reservation number and if it is available you will be able to add it there (it is an extra allowable so you don't have to remove one of your current 3). The website is https://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com/Login.aspx

I've started going through my three girls' stuff to see what we need (Disney shirts etc) - starting to get excited!!

I wish I could start packing already. I mean I could but I would forget and then have to repack again. I do need to go through things and see whats coming with us for my daughter as well though.

Would March hurry up and get here already ??? Only 37 more days til check in - excitement is killing me!

63 days for us! Going at the end of March!

I recently bought flip flops and a few shirts to go with us and I am just now starting to think of what everyone will need for packing and I haven't even made my list that I usually have made before now. Maybe it is because it will be our 10th trip and I am use to packing. Or It is just too cold here to think about packing right now.

Who knows?

Guess I should boogie down on a packing list !

37 days to go.... 37 days for me to get better. I (finally) had the surgery I needed on my leg a week ago. I'm in so much pain, much worse than before the procedure!! They assured me I'd be fine for Disney, but I am not so sure. All that walking and standing.... I may be headed for a wheelchair, which I am not crazy about. And as fate would have it, we are staying in a two story townhouse -- stairs aren't my friend right now.

Best wishes on your recovery and for a painless trip. We are 44 days away and I too am hoping for a healthy trip. Back in mid December I was diagnosed with diverticulites. Of course I started freaking out about what I am going to eat at WDW. But it seems that I have been pretty good on finding things I can eat and so far I haven't had another flare up. But then I ended up get C.Diff from the antibiotics and now I am fighting that. I just keep hoping that I get it under control before we leave so that I am not feeling crappy there. Looking forward to getting to a happy place as this past 40 days or so have been anything but.

38 days for us! I'm still second-guessing all of my FP+ and ADR choices - I even made an additional one at Narcoosee's because I keep reading really mixed reviews for Le Cellier. Hopefully I'll make my mind up before we leave! I pulled our suitcases out and starting throwing little things into them as I come across them - water bottles, sunscreen - and I'm working on the official packing list. I'm thinking of mailing a box to the resort too, with snacks and diapers.

Thanks... same to you! Hope you are well enough to enjoy your trip. I've been struggling to walk since September, so I haven't been in a happy place either. I haven't been able to find my Disney magic yet because I have been so worried about how our trip will be affected! I know it could be worse and I'll do whatever I have to do when we get there. I'm trying to muster up some excitement somehow!! pixiedust:

Subscribing! We are officially 50 days out. We are doing an extended family trip with my mom, sisters and families. 11 of us in total. March 15-22 at Pop. Lord help us get through this trip with no bloodshed!! :p

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and an enjoyable trip! My husband ruptured his Achilles and had surgery on 11/20, we are hoping he will be able to enjoy our trip without a limp or wheelchair.

I'm taking some first-timers down March 22-29th, staying at All Star Movies. We have our FP+ reservations made! it will be interesting to see how things go with the new system in place. I'm cautiously optimistic.

We'll be there at the same time. I'm curious as to what fastpasses you chose. Still trying to decide for some parks. I keep changing.

Breakfast at Ohana's then we head home.

I really hate how FP+ works in Epcot but I'm mostly ok with the rest. I'm sure I will make some changes to these fast passes but I will probably keep them all in the afternoon when it's busiest in the parks. My strategy was to FP+ the low capacity/ long wait time rides and hit everything else early. My CRT breakfast gives me a big advantage that day.

41 days to go until my husband and I go on our alone trip!
29 trips to Disney World and counting...next stop POFQ March 2014:lovestruc
