Is anyone else a sucker for kitschy theming/packaging? I definitely am....things like MAC's Wonderwoman or Venomous Villains, Tarte's TrueBlood collection...and the latest - The Balm's Cast Your Shadow Muppet-themed pallette!

While I wish I could afford everything, I try to get bits and pieces of things to make me smile like my Wonderwoman lipgloss or the Villain pieces I bought at the outlet store. Please tell me I am not the only one...LOL!

i bought a bunch of the villianous collection! I love my maleficent eyeshadow palletes and lip gloss and use them a lot! I wish we had an outlet, I will have to look into that! I saw some true blood palates at ulta, so yes i do get suckered into theme makeup! didnt buy it yet though....havent seen the muppets package yet. You are not alone! I hope MAC does another disney line soon :)

Any suggestions on how to keep your eyelashes curled in high heat and humidity? Late summer is Alabama makes it nearly impossible.

Has anyone switched from Bare Minerals to Everyday Minerals? Is there a noticeable difference?

Help me with this: How can I wear good makeup without making my face look too caked?

Do you mean foundation? If so you need a primer and then if you use a powder you dust lightly to set it. It needs to be something that is very finely milled.

I had already told myself I spend so much money on LipFusion glosses. I needed to stop. It was absurd... and I have oodles of them.

Then, I'm casually walking through Lord & Taylor and saw Chanel's Glossimer in Meteore. :lovestruc

OMG! Could it BE a more stunning color? No, it couldn't.

The plus, it's less than LipFusion ($38). The minus, it's still $29. Sick. :sad2:

But....it sure will look good on my lips in Disney - IN ONE WEEK! :yay:

And then... I went on HSN, and they had the XL LipFusion set for $50. So, I got one of those too. :sad2:

HSN got me yesterday for a bunch of Wei East crap. My skin is looking ghastly for 27 and I've heard very good things of her products. If I don't like them they can always go back. Gotta love HSN and QVC!

What kind of mascara are you using?

My lashes stay "curled" (I don't curl them, but I keep forming them into a curl, when I'm applying mascara) but I'm using Tubing Mascaras.

CathrynRose - that is a great color!! I am a gloss girl but the Coco Rouge lipsticks from last year were very tempting at the Chanel counter!! They felt like the KissKiss lipstick from Guerlain.

DisneyDreaming - I had to leave Nickjr. on all day this past Friday because HSN had Wei East, QVC had Laura Geller, and Shop NBC had Skinn -- all TSV's! I really wanted the Skinn set but I am hitting the World in November and know I won't be able to resist the new Meteorites color in Epcot - "La Nuit."

I really, really need to go back to work - being home with my son has been bad for my wallet...LOL!

Hi Pirate Me - I switch all the time between Bare Minerals, Everyday Minerals, and Borghese Kirkland foundation and they all look the same to me!

Everyday Minerals has a sample foundation kit for $5 or free with any purchase because they have a wide range of shades. You might want to wait until the end of the month to order from them because they are launching a new foundation formula called "It" foundation.

Good Luck!

Just want to reiterate BUTTER LONDON polish....love it! At first I was not impressed but I am going out today to buy more. ULTA sells it and they have a 3.50 coupon so it will only be 11.50 sooo much better than the rest and I love the Hardware top coat as well as the Foundation.

Looking for suggestions on a pencil eyeliner that doesn't smudge and hopefully waterproof?

I have bought MAC, Urban Decay 24/7, and of course the store brands such as Maybelline, Revlon, Loreal and 2-3 hrs after applying it on the bottom of my eyelashes I look like a racoon.:headache:

I find that if you use liquid foundation around eyes before you apply makeup and then let dry and a little pressed powder under eyes and eyeliner stays put. I have tried a bunch including MAC and I have to say i like maybelline the best.

I swear by Smashbox Jet Set (Waterproof) Liquid Liner. It stays on for hours even if you sweat or cry. I used it during the time of my mother's death and it was there after wiping away tears. I used it during my August Disney trip last year and it was there through all the sweat and after swimming! :)

Have you every tried a waterproof eye primer before you put on your eyeliner? Benefit makes one called Stay Don't Stray that is specifically for underneath your eyes and Laura Geller has a nice one as well. There are a lot of primer's out there, just make sure you buy one labeled "waterproof."

Good luck!!
