Awesome in a different way .. It's size and the no of parks and the fact that Orlando had universal Orlando ... Which I love (if u can I'd try spend 3 days there) and seAworld Orlando which is great too

Hello everyone!

I think it is time for an update, don't you!

We are all excited around here as we only have 6 sleeps to go! Yep, that's just one more Wednesday, one more Thursday, one more Friday, one more Saturday, one more Sunday and then we are off. Off to Sydney that is!
My Mum decided that we should stay in Sydney the night before we go, you know, just in case!!! ( 'cause that's what Mum's do.............worry )
So, we will be departing on Monday the 2nd of September and catching the XPT train down to Sydney, first class of course ( umm, it will probably be the only time this Aussie can say she gone first class ) The journey takes around 2 and a half hours and I must admit will be a lot less dtressful than driving down the day we fly out!
It will be then be a bit of a sleep in and off to the airport the next morning via the airport train service.

I am still putting the final touches on the itinerary but will have it finalised over the weekend so will post it then!

So, until then.....................

I am so sorry it's been a while since I have updated and we have been back for a few weeks now ( no excuse, I know!!! ).

I am about to get the ball rolling and get pics transferred to photobucket.......................etc etc!

This trip was wonderful, just wonderful! I have sooo many things to write about as we really did have a trip we will remember for the rest of our lives!

Hello out there

It's been a while since my last post, quite some time actually. That is something I would like to rectify right now though.
We had a trip in the works where we were going to visit Europe and visit both Paris Disneyland and also Hong Kong Disneyland on the way over.It still will be happening, just a bit later! It wasn't possible to get to the USA also so I have been very busy planning like mad to cover all the things we wanted to do without delving into the USA.

However........................about 48 hours ago that all changed

As some of you may be aware, Disneyland will be celebrating 60 magical years next year. For some of you that may have come along on my previous adventures, you will know that Disneyland is my everything. It's my whole world actually........kind of like an obsession, and a big one at that.
My darling DH of over 20 years knows this all too well. So, he decided that I "needed" to go next year to help Mickey out with the celebrations. It was a huge shock and a most wonderful wonderful gesture on his part. There were lots of tears, happy happy tears from me
He likes Disney parks, he just doesn't live, eat, sleep, breathe Disney parks!!!
My DD however is very much like her Mum. This trip will probably be the last mother daughter trip I get to have her to myself as she has a boyfriend and is not my baby anymore

So, we are off. Just the 2 of us on a magical journey and one I know I will treasure forever.
I will be starting a PTR real soon, but to get into the swing of things, I thought what better way than to complete the report from the trip we took last year with my Mum.

If you would like to come along, I would love to hear from you I really do enjoy writing and if just one person gets something from the report, it makes it all worthwhile.
