The effects are pretty and very clever. Goodness knows how you'd know that was your picture up there. Perhaps it's clearer in real life than it appears in the video. I'm not sure the pictures add anything. In fact, I think I'd prefer the display without them.

Disney should simply have sold this as a new show without the big fanfare; the suggestion of a major happening akin to the opening of a new park. As a new nighttime show, it's really quite lovely.

I will reserve judgement til I have seen it, wasn't impressed at the launch and still not with that clip but maybe better in real life.
I think the hype and launch was just so OTT it annoyed me

Doubt you will find the webcast now but this was a blog from last Sept when it happened, big announcement live from NYC. The rumours were going crazy, some suggesting a new park etc. It was a very poorly presented show and they announced this new show.

if they made such a big deal out of it, then based on what i see in that video, you're right that the hype must have been over the top in comparison to the final product...

I agree with you about how small the pictures appear on the castle - that's a tiny bit disappointing.

But overall.... I love it!!! Very clever!!

While I like the idea, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the show when I see it (I'm assuming it's on before Wishes?) I agree that it's a nice addition, but not quite on a par with the hype it received!

It looks much better than I was expecting. As you say Deb, I reckon they could do without the photos, but I bet it's quite a thrill if you see yourself up there.
Some really cool effects. As long as it doesn't replace Wishes - I'm happy.

Does anyone know if it will be shown EVERY night before Wishes? Also, will Wishes start on the hour (as it always has) with this about 12 minutes before or will they move Wishes to start about 12 minutes after the hour?

I will for sure - the music at the start got me, the same way that it always does

The effects are amazing! I can't wait to see it for real, I hope it's a bit clearer than on the screen.

I am looking forward to seeing this in person. As others have said it looks better than I imagined. Thought I have to agree with Wayne this was hyped beyond all proportion.

I am sure the Podcast said that you may not see your photo since they will probably be from guests who visited on previous days
