There is one of these 5 roundabout set ups where we used to live on the A13 at the Sadlers Farm Junction. Bit scarey at first because you do feel like you're going the wrong way round, but it does get easier.
Sadly it hasnt lessened the traffic congestion in that part of the world, it can still take 20 - 25 minutes to get round from one side of the roundabout to the other!
LOL Tim - I'm not sure I'd manage this very well either.
There is a similar set up in Hemel Hempstead where you literally go around the large roundabout the wrong way and the are several little roundabouts - does anyone know it? Or better still, a bird's eye photo would be good!
know it well! (sister lives nearby).....horrible thing!...and janice is right, the one at Sadlers farm is equally awful for traffic, especially in the rush hour!
I live in Swindon, it's easy peasy!
Most locals can get across it in top gear!
It certainly used to keep the traffic flowing well, but I think it is reaching capacity now.
Would really puzzle our US visitors!
