CALLING ALL SCRAPBOOKERS!!!!

Scrap booking: the hobby of creating compilations in scrapbook albums, such as keepsakes, pictures, periodical articles, etc

No - we will not be scrap booking. Please note that DCL may offer a scrapbook class and that this class is normally geared to beginners and families although you may want to stop by to check out the free supplies they may offer.

This is a notice for those interested in a

SCRAPBOOKING EXCHANGE!!!
Remember:

• You don't have to spend a lot of time or money towards this exchange.
• The gift can be homemade, already in your scrapbooking inventory, or purchased.
• Some ideas include page borders, journaling boxes, photo frames, titles for pages, and small embellishments.
• Your gift can have a theme related to something you do on the ship (games, dining, pirating, etc.), our ports-of-call, cruising in general, Disney, or whatever else comes to mind.

Has anyone used the Airfare through Disney for their cruise? We looked at airfare to Barcelona and it is outrageous for a one-way fare. The fare Disney has quoted is actually less than 1/2 the cost, and includes the return from Puerto Rico.

Actually I have 2 questions: (heehee) Are you able to select your travel date when using Disney airfare? We would like to arrive in Barcelona a couple of days before the cruise so we can play there.

When the time comes (it is a bit early to look at airfare) you might want to look at 1800flyeurope online and check the one way fares. Often cheaper.

I'm not sure what the rates for DCL air are, I looked and I don't think they show from my airport (MCO) right now. Not sure you have too much choice in flights unless you pay extra and also stay at their choice of hotels. Someone will correct me if I am wrong in this.

Try 1800flyeurope.com. We used it in 2011. One-way from Orlando to Barca was $550. I think it was about $600 or so from Atlanta. It's nonrefundable once you buy and I don't know if you can use miles to upgrade or anything like that, but it was cheap and we had no problems using it. I plugged in dates for Sept 2013 (too early to book for 2014) and the fares were comparable to 2011.

I'm so super happy to see more familiar friends joining us and seeing the entire group growing!

What's cracking me up most (in a positive way) is that as a result of so many of us obsessive compulsive planners, we have activities being managed already!

Speaking of activity sign-ups....I'll definitely volunteer my stateroom (2004) for the Stateroom Tour because it's so unique in comparison to other Cat 9 cabins. I hosted the room for the 2010 WBTA tour, and many found what a great secret this cabin is for "free" extra space.

Yep, Sue and Glenn. We also have Mark and Juanita joining us, but they are not on Dis...

Oh yay!!! I'm so thrilled they decided to come! Since they live so close to me, sometime in the next 18 months, we'll have to finally meet for coffee or lunch!

....I am not sure if we have the old web site bones or not, that was fun too! Matching dis name to photo, mapping cabins... .

The website/databases you and Glenn hosted was SO helpful!

DH asked if the rum tasting involves tasting straight rum or if there is something to mix with it. He loves his rum & Coke, but is not sure about straight rum.
