Do the Transatlantic cruises usually fill?
I have an inside GTY room booked.
I don't know about all of them, but the one we just got off of was. There looked to be rooms available the week before but on boarding there was the "ship full no upgrades available" sign out. The same with the first Med.

Was it really full, Val? I saw the signs, too, but it didn't seem full to me. And I think someone mentioned before that they work on the empty rooms so they say the ship is full. They did work on a couple of rooms near us that I know were empty, but maybe they moved those people? I know that Cayla and Cathy also changed rooms, so not sure...
Anyone have the numbers for adults and kids? I've seen it before, but don't remember where!
I don't know if it was Really full. I think they might define full as the number of available life boat spaces, not room space. I didn't think the ship 'felt' full at all.
I'll started working on designs for magnets ect. I like this one even though it needs more work

They are figurative .... basically the students in the school are divided into groups when they join the school, the groups are called "houses". It is nothing to do with residential houses, places where you live or even buildings in most cases. Everyone mixes up to do lessons etc, but the "houses" do sports and competitions against each other during the year and score house points. In our primary school you could get "house points" for things like good behaviour, using the welsh language, being helpful as well as academic achievement, eisteddfod results or sports.
In our secondary school I think they only used the house points for sports.
I hope that makes sense.

I'm such a Harry Potter geek! I have all of the books - in hardback, on CD, and on my Nook. I've read them so many times! In fact, my DH and I are so geeky, I made us "wizard's robes" and we wore them to every book release and movie opening from Book 4, on.![]()
Makes total sense. Thanks for explaining.
Only one more day and then I have the summer off. As soon as I get the house back in order from end of year crazy, I am off to the library to see if a copy is available.
Is the first one just called Harry Potter?

The first one is "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone"
never really totally understood the reasoning behind changing the name for the US.... originally its harry potter and the philosophers stone. they changed it to the sorceror's stone when they released it in the US![]()
Did you have trouble starting the last book? I must have held on to it for at least 6 months before I cracked it open. I just didn't want it to end.
I still haven't made it to IoA or even Universal since HP came.
This is a pretty old picture, but these are the wizard's robes I made for us. My niece, on the left, is wearing a cloak my mother made for me years before to wear to Renaissance Festivals. Yep, we're pretty geeky, I know.
I never understood that either, Karen. They also changed a lot of the British terms to American words, like using "cookies" instead of "biscuits." I hate that, because I like the different terms. That's half the fun of reading something from a different country.
No, I'm one of those people who was at the bookstore at midnight (in costume) and started reading it as soon as I got home. I sobbed through the whole thing. I was sad that the story was over, but felt satisfied with the way it ended. Then I started all over again with Book 1, thinking as I read each book how Rowling wove all the pieces together. The films were fun, but I felt they had to leave out too many important items, though I understand why they did.
We haven't made it to Universal either. We keep talking about going, but we always seem to end up spending our entire vacation at WDW. Go fig'.
When you guys finally get around to going you've gotta try the frozen butterbeer. It's sooooo good

I'll started working on designs for magnets ect. I like this one even though it needs more work, I took an image from the Disney Park Blog's available wallpaper and made a few adjustments, such as turning the ship and additing the text.
