Last call for sign-ups!!!​

In order for those participating to plan, we will need to lock down the Scrapbook exchange by Friday, June 20th. If you wish to participate, please see the information below:

Scrap booking: the hobby of creating compilations in scrapbook albums, such as keepsakes, pictures, periodical articles, etc.

No - we will not be scrap booking. Please note that DCL may offer a scrapbook class and that this class is normally geared to beginners and families although you may want to stop by to check out the free supplies they may offer.

This is a notice for those interested in a SCRAPBOOKING EXCHANGE!!!

Remember:
You don't have to spend a lot of time or money towards this exchange.
The gift can be homemade, already in your scrapbooking inventory, or purchased.

Some ideas include page borders, journaling boxes, photo frames, titles for pages, and small embellishments.
Your gift can have a theme related to something you do on the ship (games, dining, pirating, etc.), our ports-of-call, cruising in general, Disney, or whatever else comes to mind.

I am fine with exchanging through the FEs. If we have a " 'Til W Meet Again" lunch for our entire DIS/Facebook group (historically on the last sea day), that would also be a good forum to exchange our gifts. That would make it one less day that we would have avoid scheduling conflicts with tastings, classes, spa offerings, and pool hair dates.

With that said, I'll go with the majority regardless!

As already said, I too am happy for exchanging through the FE's as I love getting back to little gifts and don't think I managed to get in to the FE exchange in time (well haven't had an email about which group I'm in so assume I missed out). I don't mind either way though really just makes it easier doing FE wise as that way if there is a scheduling issue you don't have to worry about it so much.

To be fair, on my last trip I put the stuff in envelopes and then if people didn't have FE's just placed them in the fish itself as there's a gap for envelopes!

My wife and I are wanting to do a local tour of Tenerife vs the ship options, there is a very good 7-8 tour with toursintenerife, blog wouldn't allow me to put the website but we like the Top 3 link. Is our 4th Disney cruise but our first in Europe, does anyone knows if we can do the tax refund in Barcelona port before embarkation? or how does it work?
does it take time, so i need to be in advance?
i well aware in airports but 1st time on a port!! thanks all the experts for the info!

We completed the paperwork after shopping at El Corte Ingles, but discovered the refund could only be handled at the airport. Since it was the day before our last WBTA (2011), I considered our taxes a contribution to the Spanish economy . I don't know if anything has changed since then.

Cristi, We also checked with Spain Day Tours and had them put our names on a list to get enough people for that same tour. There is my wife and I and we'd be interested for sure.

Okay, just reading through the posts now that I already replied to your other post. Leonard went with ODITEN for our Tenerife tour. We were primarily wanting to spend more time up on Mt. Teide; we want to take the cable car up and then do one of the hiking routes. We are going there first thing and then depending on when we get through with that, we'll stop and see some other things as we make our way back to the port. So sounds like two different types of tours on Tenerife.

Given that we also wanted to do a tour in Malaga, Leonard offered to take over the Tenerife planning, an I started on the Malaga tour. So, I thought that was what you were replying to my initial post about. I've got your email from your post and will forward on the tour description for that one on to you. If you are interested I can either include y'alls name on what I send in tomorrow or you can reach out to Emilia directly. I think either way will work.
