The magic has started.

Just thought I would share a bit of pre trip magic.

In 1999 I went to Busch gardens with my family but the park closed an hour after opening due to a weather warning (a tornado I think)

We were given re admission passes but we had to leave for home the next day.

I found these tickets recently and dropped Busch gardens an email this morning and they replied in 10 mins

After a few email exchanges and investigation I was told they would be more than happy for me to still use these tickets and look forward to welcoming me back to Busch gardens

The lady was so helpful I can feel the pixie dust in the air already it obviously spreads further than disney

I agree! This is one of my favorite parks but we live on the east coast straight across and it's like a 3 hour drive. Just don't get there too often.

The tickets are now 13 years old and one of them has the magic carpet ride on the front and that was taken down years ago.

The person who takes the tickets that day will be in for a shock

I almost don't want to give them back they are vintage rofl

That's so good to hear - it brought a tear to my eye!

I wonder if perhaps they might let you keep the tickets after you've used them (even if they have to mark them as void or something). It's such a great story and I can imagine that it would be nice to hold on to them for sentimental reasons after so long.
