The magic begins, upgrade!

Dw, Dd & Dgd arrived at Pop sat. I had a prefered room to be close to transportation. I was a little disapointed with the location. 4th floor, the farthest room from the elevator, looking out at the foosball players. Not really that close to the busses.
So we dropped off our stuff and headed back to eat at thefood coart.
As this was a 1st trip with my 4yr old grandaughter princes I thought id stop by the front desk and see if i could get a room with a pool view. The fact we had a split stay, 1 sat. Night at pop then a 6 night FDPlan package at pop, they didnt think we could work it out. Well after 10 min. On the phone we had a room 2nd floor looking out over the kiddy pool right in the center of pop. Everybody is happy... I offered repeatedly to pay the extra but no charge... Dgd LOVES the kiddy pool.

Spent saturday evening doing all the little kiddie activities by the pool with a room that overlooks the area instead of being 2 buildings away.. very nice and appreciated how things were handled.

Hopefully it won't be too loud - we found the pool view rooms to be super loud, and 1st/2nd floor rooms rather damp. At least 2nd floor shouldn't have mold issues (big problem at WDW) and as long as you don't need a quiet room for napping, enjoy!

BTW, you are still in a preferred room location, so there shouldn't have been an increase in cost to begin with? You did state that your 1st room was preferred as well, or was that a mistake? You are just one building over now.

We prefer building 9, as it is really close to the bus stops, usually really super quiet, and the upper floors are even more quiet
