The trip was GREAT! We had a really good time. Strange, but we both REALLY missed the girls (DD3 and DD1.5) so we weren't very sad to be headed home. That's the first time I didn't experience Disneyfrueden?>#<%%...whatever Zzub calls it.

So sorry to hear about your DD food poisoning episode. I'm doubting that it will help her learn to listen to you more, though, her still being a teenager and all.

Mark--So sorry to hear about you catching the bug. No fun.

Pongo--What happened with this latest round of trying to get the correct glass?

Well it did put her off of any type of ground meat for awhile. I at least think that she will listen the next time I say to broil them for AT LEAST 15 minutes

I thought it would be cute to embroider the "Maelstrom...Is a Fastpass?!?!?! on the front and then maybe Portable Puke Pocket on the main flap as well as Maelstromers all the way around the belt. I'm trying to find a blank one now so I can do a demo copy.

Ok well there is some good news: I think my hubby is on-board for some adult getaway time at the World!

I click about on the WDW website and came up with Sept 30-Dec 3rd all airfare and free dining included for about 1k.

But... there's always at least one isn't there?

1) Need to find out if my sister can watch kiddos for the 4 days we will be gone.
2) Need to find out if new job will agree to let me take off 2 MORE days without pay. They are already letting me take a week off (without pay) for our December trip later this year.

That's 2 really big IFs, though. Otherwise, I would have booked it already. The cheap airfare would have been non-refundable, so I didn't click that submit button no matter how much I really wanted to!

So, I am going to try to get those 2 IFs answered PDQ before it's too late.

On a related note, besides MNSSHP and the Maelstrom Meet is there anything else going on that week that I should know about?

Don't count on the food poisoning, it's not gonna make DD listen to you. I have an almost 15 year old. Let me just tell you, she is sooooo waaaaaaaaaay smarter than little Me. What do I know, huh? Nothing? I'm a 38 year old dummy. I don't know How I managed this long without her helping me!!! Teenagers, you've GOT to love them. Or kill them! Just kidding. Or am I???? No, really, I'm just kidding. If you raise a teenager, you are SOOOOOOO going straight to Heaven when you DIE !!!!


jamal....My Pooh, that I rescued, used to speak. I found the tag on his bottom that says " I Talk". Well, I changed is batteries, hooP looked him over (he's all technical and stuff), and he still won't speak! I don't know what atrocities he has seen next door. I do know that I have seen some myself. These are the neighbors, that after attending one of their parties, I ended up in the bushes!! Poor Pooh, he has a quiet sweet smile. He still can't speak of his pain. I think Horseygirl might be able to help. Horsey, do you treat Bears?
